and now that you mention it, it does kinda tweak my mind a bit... but I think it boils down to what we see as "autoflowering" is actually just a plant which has become so "short minded" so to speak that in the interest of going through all phases as quickly as possible to achieve genetic offspring, it goes directly through without waiting to see if light changes will occur.... interesting to note some original ruderlis strains are believed to be from Siberian or Russian decent, if I remember correctly... that would CERTAINLY put pressures on to get the job done right now!
