Old Reviews Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect

Don't know where you got only feeding veg nutes for a week or two but that's incorrect. You should be feeding veg nutes for the first 5-6 weeks, all the way through veg and pre flower.

Got my PH perfect today got the Connie with big bud, overdrive, sesizyme(spelling)lol, phiranha, bud blood...The connie has really high NPK rates..Didnt get grow nutes as we only use them for a week or so with the autos and i still have floranova grow from last time...People complain about price but really its not that bad the floanova is around 40 bucks and the connie was 57 after discount..And not messing with PH is worth it to me...And they have a guarantee if u dont like it get ur loot back cant beat it..I am however pissed the sals rep said he would send me some samples and didnt bastard(JK)...

Yep, I agree with Muddy. I use the Sensi Grow for the 1st 5-6 weeks.

Yea I am still feeding veg nutes to mine at week 4, and will continue to feed them veg for at least another week. And my strain is one of the shorter lived ones (about 8 weeks). I estimate that I will use veg and flower nutes in roughly a 50:50 ratio. The veg stage in auto's is very important, they need the extra N to build structural molecules and get their height up. Low veg growth translates to low yields. Even though most auto's start flowering in about 3 weeks, they are still not finished vegging. I feel that in weeks 4-7 (depends upon strain) veg and bloom growth overlap each other. Mine didn't really start their vertical growth spurt until after they started flowering. I would grab something to give them a bit of veg nutes, It will make your ladies much happier imo.

so ur saying u only feed bloom nutes for 2-3 weeks , and ur talking about veg stage which is 2-3 weeks(normally) in an auto...Sorry but when i see pistols forming im gonna be feeding bud nutes not grow nutes....Last time with my autos i feed grow nutes from day 8 to 25 then bloom nutes the rest of the way and only used floranova grow and bloom....I guess i could see mixing grow and bloom together maybe from weeks 3-5(max), then all bloom for 3 weeks...This is what advanced says =Start using Connoisseur one week after flowering has been triggered...These r JMO

I dont know how thats wrong........I think ur wrong for feeding veg nutes for 5-6 weeks when they only live for 8-10weeks normally..so for an 8 weeks strain ur only feeding bloom nutes for 2 weeks and 1 week just water(flush)THATS WRONG IMO..Thats the whole point of an auto it skips veg stage...lol...:peace:

First off, most auto strains aren't going to be finished in 8 weeks. Most won't finish till 10 - 12 weeks. If you're harvesting them at that time you are loosing out on some fat buds. Just because you see pistols at 3 weeks doesn't mean the plant is done with it's vertical growth. That will continue strong for the next 2-3 weeks and the plants need more N to support that rapid growth. I've seen as much as 1" per day for 2 weeks or more. In the end that vertical growth equates to bigger buds. That 2-3 week period is called pre flower. The plants show pistols but are not in full bloom yet. They won't go into full bud until the rapid vertical growth stops. By taking away veg nutes at 3 weeks you are stunting your plants and decreasing your yields. This information came right from Stitch, the breeder of many popular strains like Mi5, Onyx, and Auto Assassin. The effectiveness of this technique has been born out by myself over several hundred auto grows and by many others here as well. You can start adding some bloom nutes at around week 5, mixed with the veg nutes. Also, the feeding schedules published by the manufacturers apply to photo period plants, not autos.

the feeding scheduale??? never said nothing bout it other than when my plant starts flowering im gonna use bloom nutes and my additives and get big nugs...Ive always had my autos to 3ft..So im not worried about them growing tall enough.. I just feel like u would be loosing by not using ur bloom nutes and additives until there only 4-5 weeks left and with 7-10days flush thats only 25 days and 6 feedings of nutes doesnt seem like ud be giving the plant all it needs..Im gonna do a test this run and see(becuz i could be wrong im not a pro) Ill have to order some grow nutes then as i really dont wanna use the floranova anymore but i would for just 2 weeks but not for 4-5 weeks..So ill do 4 plants ur way and the other 2 my way just to see...But i do thank u guys and im not trying to start any arguements just so u know..

I think a test run would be the best way to go about it. Good idea 420. No arguments that I see, just sharing of opinions and advice on how to get the optimal yield. :toke: Thats why I frequent this site so much! Keep us posted on how your test run goes.

Question...
Lets say you were doing hydro. And you would need to top of your resiviour.
Example:
Your bucket is 20 litres, you have already mixed in your ph perfect nutes. Now you need to top it off with 2 litres. If you add 2 litres of water would that throw off the ph? Or would you need to mix the 2 litres of water and nutes then dump it in?

I'm not positive as I don't grow hydro, but my guess would be to check your PPM and add back what is missing.
