This is the second most important ingredient in your reservoir (nutrients being first). Don't let your garden drag because you are low on Calcium/Magnesium...it's the most common deficiency!!!

Cal-Mag Plus is a custom plant supplement designed to help with calcium, magnesium and iron deficiencies in nutrient fertilizer programs. Cal-Mag Plus serves as a catalyst for the major elements to work in symbiosis with one another to prevent blossom end rot in tomatoes and peppers and tip burn in lettuce. Cal-Mag Plus is a bio-catalyst for plants; a highly beneficial plant nutrient supplement to correct the inherit problem of calcium, magnesium and iron mineral deficiencies found in most soil fertilizers and some hydroponic nutrient liquid concentrated formulas. It will help prevent blossom end rot, Interveinal chlorosis, Stunted growth rates and Upward leaf curl. Increases Cell division and plant tissue development, water, nutrient and carbon dioxide uptake, Growth rates and crop maturity.

any advice on if this would be beneficial or not? thanks AFN :bong:

i am currently supplementing my distilled waterings with cal mag once every 3 days. (5ml per gallon) I am currently 1 month into the grow. I am going to bump it up here soon since it is beginning to run out of soil nutrients.

thanks for the help, how much you adding per gallon? :smokebuds:

Distilled water has no calmag in it and may cause a calmag def if you don't add some in. I'm using the ffnutes, ffof soil and calmag plus in my current grow. I water twice a week and once a week I add calmag at the rate of 1 teaspoon per 1 gallon water. I'm using regular bottled springwater and still find I have to add calmag to it or risk a def.
