I am looking for a new fan, and I came across these. Majority of people said they're garbage, and they don't last. I was shocked because always heard good things about AC Infinity, but most reviews were bad. They like their exhaust fans, but say not the same quality. The issues were consistent which is a res flag for me. I passed for now still using my 12" $10 Walmart special lol. It's going 5+yrs now like you said... 24/7. Only reason I wanted a new 1 was to give me some more room in the tent.

My AC has been running 24/7 through 1 1/4 grows now, no issues. Like I said earlier, a cheap oscillating pole fan is only like $5 cheaper, but then you get two speeds.

My AC Infinity oscillating fan ran thru an entire grow at half power, 97 days, and hasn't faltered one bit.

I'm very aware of "operator error" so many people use something wrong, and then blame the product. When you see the same issues brought up there is something to it. Since I don't know if mine will work good like yours, or crap out I'm not spending the bread... for now anyways. Don't seems to be any that are 5 starts, so may just have to take a chance either way. I have never used their products only heard people talk positively. When I looked at the bad reviews 3 star or less made me pause on grabbing it. I'm willing to pay more for 1 that will last if I can find it.

You have to go with your gut feeling. I'm not defending this fan, I'm just personally willing to pay the extra money for the extra features. Plus every other brand of pole fan I have bought is louder, and then quickly goes squeaky sounding.

Definitely, I'm shocked there isn't more out there. I looked at a bunch, and sad there isn't more quality in the smaller fans. I'll keep looking till my hand is forced.

I have 3 of these fans currently. I bought them mostly for the speed control. I'll definitely let everyone know if they crap out on me or break early.

I had the Blizzard 6" fans but both of them snapped their oscillation mechanisms very quickly. I suspect they were "lightened" in a couple spots to save some pennies. It wouldn't have really been an issue but once the oscillation arm was done, the fan was just floppy.

I do have a cheap USB oscillating Chinese no-name fan that has lasted a very long time being run 24/7. I can't explain why the cheapest and worst fan has lasted the longest.

Funny how that works out..Bought 4 of those cheap azz 6" fans for the price of 1 AC infinity an they still going after a year. Only using 3 so got 1 in reserve.
