thats seriously thicker than an afghan's bush lololol not that ive seen one but if we assume homogenity in the phrase the "carpet matches the drapes". but i have been searching this question for quite a while and it probably isnt the right place for it, and if thats the case im sure a moderator will kindly move move my post to another thread. but what do you about cutting fan leaves? ive read/heard some people saying its ok to do it especially in veg, but also other people saying no dont do it at all because the leaves are used to create food and in turn buds.

im gona start a journal when i go back home, im just on vacation for the holidays. the plants are already growing i just have a drip irrigation system watering them and a friend of mine pops in every now and again to make sure the ph and ec are within normal ranges.

Wow thanks a lot Noods :group:All these great comments from you pros really makes me proud lol...if i pull this off it will be a major testament to AFN & it's members/my friends as i really did start from scratch right here !....& i know i wouldn't be doing half as good without you !:buds:.

I got no problem with you posting here bud ,so no worries:thumbs:lolol shes bushy !,

As for your Q .... not sure but im sure some1 will help ...personally i like to just let bush grow !...BUT,Kush said he wished he had lollypopped his ABB a bit & i kinda think i should have too but too late now .I have LOADS of small side brances stretching out that wont bud up much ,will take up valuble space & her energy could be better spent fattening up main budz ....this is just something i read here the other day !.So maybe a trim early in the lower area of the bush is a good idea !!! :head:....as for Fan leaves ....i would no ,dont remove them at all ....maybe exceptions to that & again im a noob so let some1 else advise there .

enjoy the holidays & look forward to your journal:peace:

Sherlock says... ive read/heard some people saying its ok to do it especially in veg, but also other people saying no dont do it at all because the leaves are used to create food and in turn buds.
Wait till AFTER veg, Sherlock. Even then, with autoflowers, it'll shock her and she'll take about a two or three day break and collect her strength again. During the veg phase she needs all the power she can gather through them leaves. Take 'em then and she'll be mad at you.

Kush, not trying to step on your toes, but I can't understand why you say it's too late for lolli-popping.
The way I see it, you could theoretically do it... whenever (after upward/outward veg growth has stopped). :2cents: :smokebuds:

there you go Sherlock ... & i learned something else today as well!.

I hear ya Noods...

I just think if your gonna lollipop then it should be done coming to the end of Veg (staggered nodes)... If you start trimming & nipping at her now (in bloom) would that not detract energy away from flowering & redirect it to repair/healing for a few days.. Which will slow growth..I would have thought that that was not good practice.. I'd rather slow for a day or two in late veg than at anytime in bloom... No?? :smokebuds:
