Now that Canada is leagel or at least controlled by the
Trudeau cartel and now cartel seeds are available, backstreet by tweed at 75 bucks for 4 seeds, will there be more scrutiny from the mail police, and emphisise on known mj seed producing countries. I'm learning the craft of pollen chucking and am quit aware of Strainly. It would be nice if we could have a Canadian section of strainly. It would be a piece of cake to ship within our borders to fellow pollen chucker or anyone requiring seed. I work at a leagel dispensary and I don't know how people can afford the stuff. And now over priced seed.

We spoke with one future micro-LP (waiting for his micro-cultivation license) who told us that he was offered $1000 for one seed by a large established LP...! No joke. It seems some people are trying to put barriers to entry with genetics.

We have a major upgrade coming in Spring, which will allow for better localization of members. At the moment, Strainly members use the map view, but it's not the most convenient.

Thank you for the kind words and I understand completely. I would like to add to what @midIN is talking about and say it would be great if you guys had some kind of forum where breeders and growers could trade information more freely or did I miss that on your site?

In the early days of Strainly, we allowed members to comment and chat within listings. However, we realized it was giving opportunities to potential scammers to go around the rating workflow, and decided to remove that functionality . However, we want members to socialize beyond simple trades/transactions. We don't give up on the idea of connecting people.

We have a major upgrade coming this year and also preparing the integration of a super useful complementary service during the second half of the year... so a lot of work planned for this year (and we want to make sure everything works perfectly).

That said, regarding the social features, we don't want to do another forum. AFN have been kind enough to offer a dedicated space here, for you guys (and other Strainly members...) to interact and keep the conversation going. This is really cool from AFN, especially given the quality of conversations and general atmosphere on AFN. Therefore, we had to come up with a different idea and the good news is that we already have something in mind for 2020. This will be a "germination-to-harvest focused" way of interacting, that complements the existing experience... but unlike Forums or FB.

Sounds interesting and is good to hear you are working towards a solution. I can easily see why convos in the listings would not work. Good to see you folks have a strong presence here.
