Ya man these girls are definatly way behind. Maybe it was the transplant, maybe it was the PH? I dunno, never really had this problem before. They have started to stretch now, and the onyx showed sex today (day 19). I wish this wouldnt have happen as I was going for a nice yeild, but oh well. I will be watering with ph'd water today and maybe that will help them out. You guys think they still have a chance to yeild nicely if I can turn them around?

I'm also questioning how they were effected by being put under the 600w hps at 7 days old

i germinate my seeds in their final pots under a 600w to avoid tap roots hitting bottom of pots until plant is a decent size and the 600w to keep the room at germination temps, i run it 24/7 for first week from dropping seeds into moist soil and spray a little water on the soil around them 2/3 times a day for a few days. i keep the 600w about 3 feet above them for the first weeks or so then start to lower it. As long as your hand is not feeling too hot at the level of the leaves then your fine. I have had overheating problems but they were caused by lack of extraction, if your room is in the heat zone for weed then your fine with a 600, I was thinking of going up to a 1kw during winter and i woulda started them under that too :)

Yes, the only thing starting them under the 600 could have done was caused heat stress. Your leaves would be canoeing ( looking like a hardshell taco) and that's not the case so throw the light problem out. The hand heat test is more for established plants not seedlings but 3 feet like riz said and you should be good anyways but like I said. Not the problem. I would guess it was the transplant or over watering after the transplant. I would place my bets on a good recovery and a good yield. Healing karma coming your way bro :wiz: have the dried out since your last watering? When they look/feel dry hit them with some PHd water and see how they look in 24 hours. If they start perking up then were back on the road again.

Thanks for the help guys. I bought some distilled water today, and PH'd it. PH was perfect so I watered one. Noticed that I had some sink holes on another and as I was moving soil around I noticed that they are still damp a little past my second knuckle. Like I said they have been stretching and growing alot these past 2 days, so I'm thinking that the soil must finally be drying out. Maybe it was over watering. I didnt water any more plants, so I give it another 3 days or so and they'll be ready for another watering. I PH'd the run-off of the one I did water and the PH was about .3 low, but that shouldnt be enough to cause any PH lock out (it was around 6.2).

I also took my plants out from under the HPS so I could see the real color of them and noticed that the outside of the leaves where a nice healthy dark green, and the inside (around the veins) where a lime-greenish yellow. So any ideas on that? Possible over water?

Things are starting to look up, and I may be on the verge of figuring out the mystery. I think they have come out of the pain and are starting to grow nicely. AFN is a great community, glad I can always get some good help around here.

You got that right brother man. It's time for them to take off. Awaiting some explosive growth in the next
Week. Keep us posted

The MI5 and Purple Jem showed some pistils today. (I'm 97.37894356% sure of this). The PJ was a regular seed, so I got what I wanted! The Rocket Fuel is finally growing normal. And the nodes are spacing about 1-2" inches apart. Looks like the train is finally taking off.

Nice. Can't wait to see pics. That's great news. Choo choooo

Day 24

Sup dudes, day 24 for the little ones. They are growing pretty fast now, the nodes are spacing a little more than I would like. I have the light ~8" from them so theres not a whole lot I can do. The PJ is definatly a female. The RRF is growing normal now. And the Onyx, and MI5 are growing at a tremendous rate. The Diavolo is pretty damn big now and is starting to fill in. Will be watering with Big Bloom, Grow Big, and unsulfered mollasses tomorrow.
