Begin Week 7: Sea of buds.
Background music (appropriately sleazy):

Pot type: As Above
Lighting Type: 600w HPS
Light Schedule: 24 / 0
Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients (Bloom)/ Hammer Head. I've started them on a low dosage (1 tspn & .5 tbsp per 10lt).
Feeding: Feeding with nutes every 2nd day. Preparing to flush 2 next week.
Grow rooms smell: Smells like Lemon, Skunk and nuts?!?!

Info: The buds have really started to pack on weight this week. As you can see from a couple of pictures they've over doubled in size on the big plant. I was planning on brining her for the chop next week but after looking at some of the popcorn sized bud under the main colas I LST'd the shit out of her to get a better canopy and stuck her up about 6 inches closer to the light. I guess another 2 weeks and those buds will lengthen out and fatten up nicely.

I had to re-arrange my room again and construct another area with the 250 CLF because I flat ran out of space. I have plants ranging from 21 - 27 inches in the big pots and a few small spots, all flowering packed in under the HPS. Everything else has been relegated to my new veg box.

I've also ordered some Bluematic from Royal Queen Seeds. It looks like I'm the first one to grow them so I get the pleasure of being a guinea pig again. But it's blueberry, the buds look blue on the pack - that's good enough for me. Anyway enjoy the pics.

Quick unplanned update:

I was looking at my plants last night and was trying to think of a way to maximise the light around the bud to make em fill out a bit more. I'm not unhappy but if I can get a little more why not? Anyway, I had this mylar plastic laying about so I decided to cut out a circle of it and wrap it like a cone around the bottom of the bud to reflect light from the HPS back up to the bottom of the bud. I don't know if it will work but in 24 hours I can see the buds at the bottom beginning to swell out more.

Anyone else do this?

Begin Week 8: The Emergence of the Purple Bud.

Background Music: Evil Beatboxing?

Pot type: As Above
Lighting Type: 600w HPS
Light Schedule: 24 / 0
Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients (Bloom)/ Hammer Head. I've started them on a low dosage (1 tspn & .5 tbsp per 10lt).
Feeding: Getting one more feed tomorrow then plain water for 5 days.
Grow rooms smell: Lemon and Skunk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smells really funky, glad no one else lives in this house.

Info: Hey guys sorry about the delay with this. Had to tend to some other business last night, namely drinking.

As you'll be able to see in the pics, my mother fucking buds are turning purple. God damn. This bitch is finally beginning to show out her mazar traits and finally I know now she has less than a week left. I've been taking her out of the grow room for 12 hours a night so she knows that winter and the axe are coming this week. She's a really beautiful plant, the buds are still filling out, loads of orange and purple hairs all over here, I mean seriously beautiful colours I really wish I had a better camera to catch them. I did want to harvest her this weekend to make room but I've decided to hold off and check again in 4 and then 7 days to see how I feel about it. Maybe you guys can tell, but I think she's going to swell out a bit more before she's done. There's still a lot of green on here, but as you can see from the pics she's beginning to eat her shit already.

Next week will be back to normal with the updates, and hopefully we'll have a harvest update.

Included in the pics are the main plant with the purple buds, the LSD at week 3 :D, and various quick shots of the other plants in the grow room.

As always enjoy.

Proper Bud Shots:

Had to get some better pictures of the colours on this plant. Ended up taking most in the dark with a lower exposure to bring out more tones. Enjoy.
