Dutch Passion 6 think different, airpots (coco coir), tropf blumat 1000w (hps+led)

Nice work @Juegue. You're gonna have a nice haul off that lot!
I used to use Blumats, they're great, but I got into rotating and moving my pots which made using the Blumats impossible.
One thing I noticed was that the flow rate of the drippers decreased as the level of the nutes in the reservoir decreased.
I dunno if you have that issue, but I resolved it by having my main reservoir on the floor, and a smaller one (feeder res) raised on a shelf above the main res, and connected to the drippers as normal.....

I had 2 pipes running up from the main res, one went through the bottom of the feeder res, and extended up into the feeder res to a level that would be the where you want your nute level to be. The 2nd pipe pumped nute up from the main res into the feeder res, and the 1st pipe acted as an overflow, bringing nute back down to the main res. This also had the benefit of massively oxygenating your nute as well as maintaining a constant pressure for consistent dripping.

I had an idea to put a float in the smaller res which activated a pump in the main res to pump more nute up into the smaller res, and thus maintain the constant pressure required to keep the drippers calibrated correctly using only one pipe, but never got round to it. Fuck I'm stoned, but I hope you get the idea, I can't find a photo it would make it easier to explain!

Cheers Bruv, but with all respect, it only makes sense to you cos you're probably as wrecked as me :pass:
I'll have to check in the morning before I have my (ahem...) heart-starter :smoker1:

Great Job!
Very interested in Coco and Air Pots...
I'm gonna try next time.

I dont know if Im lucky but I dont have that problem with blumat, maybe is the height of the res? first time with blumat and I think that is gonna be a long term relationship xD!! very plessed about this system.
