Lighting 4 Quantum Board Light build and Test

I must say, they are the best looking indoor plants I've grown so far! Not a blemish on a leaf, I couldn't ask for a nicer grow. If it weren't for the mites, it would have been a perfect grow IMO!

And its looking like the grow using your lights is going the same way! Sure as hell making up for the last couple grows! I'm loving all COB tech!

Looks great in there. Nice and healthy!!!

Pretty amazing isn't it. I am really looking forward to a complete grow under these COBs.

It's all pretty much the same. Efficient white light is the answer to indoor growing. Finally people are starting to realize that LED doesn't mean it's better or has less heat. Most leds are worse than hps. Samsung seems to have done a nice job on the emitters.

Don't think I'm here to push you pop. I love success. You are succeeding here and it's wonderful. As long as it's white I'm happy.

Update:

Wooooooooooo! Colas are building! We are getting into the final weeks now! I'm thinking 3-4 weeks till done. Got to check how long they've been in flower now. Got a couple fan leaves yellowing so I'll pluck them soon. The Hammer of the Gods at the front of the tent has a beautiful cola already! The big plant has been weird for a while now, leaves curling, and not the bud growth I expected from her, but still doing nicely. She's the only plant in there, that's not totally happy.... oh well lol! The Trainwreck in both tents doing very well. Buds are smaller, but very hard and they are popping out like bunches of grapes! But the Trainwreck is Sativa dominant so I expect this, and by the looks, the will have GOBS of these! And the smell. So far, I'm amazed that the odors are quite mild. The Trainwreck smells like lemons and chocolate, the Hammer... well hard to say, earthy and nutty, very pleasant! Hope it stays that way, imagine this tent full of real stinkers......omg!

The Trainwreck in the other tent is very happy looking and pounding out buds. She's got a couple wimpy branches I need to tie up.

Its ok, I embrace both variations in technology. It could be autocobs in this tent doing the exact same job. I like the QB's in my 4'x4' tents because I like to grow big plants and want all the height I can get. The QBs give me 6" more headroom, and in this case, you can see I needed it! On the other hand, these plants are WAY bigger than they need to be. If I had room, I'd go to a 5'x5' tent for 2 plants...... I truly feel its 50/50, your autocobs or QB boards. Both are very simple to install, with the autocobs being dead simple! I like the "set it and forget it" appeal of them also, its in keeping with my KISS principal! The down side of both my other conventional cob lights and the QBs are the drivers and extensive wiring. I've got 5, HLG drivers in the growroom! There's much to be said for an all in one unit!

I'm thinking of replacing the QB in the other tent with autocobs and putting the QB in my clone cab as the height in it is not conducive to COBs and as I'm going to be experimenting with different size plants in one tent, your cobs will shine, pun intended...lol, in that endevour with their easy adjustability.

I've got a 135 watt QB 288 for my little 1.5' x 2.5' x 3.75' cabinet. Your thread here has me asking myself, "What have I done? Oh lord, what have I done?" I'm sure my girls won't get that big, but oh...to dream. Good job on your grow so far. Gotta love those QBs. Huge props to Robin at HGL.

Wooooooooo Hooo! Going to have some serious radiation in that tent lol! And just think, it will stomp ANY Chinese light! Careful what strains you chose in that little tent. I certainly didn't expect my results!

Wanted to mention an error in my thread. The Trainwreck is from Humbolt Seed Organization, not Seedsman. Claim is it was a real Arcata clone that they made seed from. Anyway, I sure like the look of it!

Sampled the Trainwreck bud I dried last night. WOooooooo! If its this good 2-3 weeks before finish......... oohh yeah! The Hammer of the Gods I sampled last night, and it has a good, strong Indica stone already. Can't wait for harvest, going to have some great weed to smoke/vape! And I'd say that the Trainwreck is very close to Sweet Seeds Sweet Trainwreck in its high, and I LOVE Sweet Trainwreck!
