I think that part just comes with experience. I was having the same issue with my first scrog and by the end i could see the mistakes I made and will hopefully be able to correct with my next. Of course, I’m sure after my second scrog I will be able see more things I could have done better, but isn’t that what it’s all about live, grow, and learn. :smoking:

I suppose it does come with experience. However, I like to do things as perfectly as possible the first time. Curse of the perfectionist.

Did you stop weaving when your plants stopped stretching, or before then, to allow for some growth above the screen?

Don’t forget this was my first time also and did not learn about weaving until I was too far along with tucking. So I can’t answer that question until my next scrog. I’ve already decided I’m going to try and reveg this one since it has such a short flowering cycle. Once and for all I can decide if revegging a scrog is worth it or not. That also means I won’t be starting another new scrog for at least 10 weeks.

Day 44.

More weaving and some rigorous defoliation. I think I might let everything grow from now on, so I get some more length to the buds. Some lower leaves showed signs of a deficiency, I'm guessing Calcium.

Day 46.

I've cleaned the reservoir and refilled it with 30L of EC 1.9 nutrients solution @ pH 5.8. I lowered the amount of Calcium and Magnesium by 0.2 ml/L, increased Coco A for more trace elements, and added 0.25 ml/L PK Booster for the trace elements it contains. I measured the pH of the small layer of water in the rez before emptied it: pH 6.0. Not too bad of a pH swing.

I turned my lights up to 200W each. I hope it isn't too much light and my plants will keep growing upwards. I'm pretty happy with how they're growing, and they're filling the screen nicely too.

Day 48.

They're slowly starting to flower but I'm still getting decent upward growth :yay:The tips of the leaves are indicating I'm right on the edge of nutrient burn, so spot on. I've got one stragler that just isn't able to compete with the others for size, but it might surprise me in the end. And now for the most important part: pictures!

Ah yes, but 1 scrog grow is 100% more than me =D I take it you're growing a photo strain then. Do you know long it takes a plant to go back into vegetative growth?

Looks like you have a duplicate post to delete.

Yes she is a photo. In my experience 3 weeks minimum for a reveg. Lot depends on the strain, but with her short flowering cycle I think it might be worth it.

Day 52.

I've done my last weaving on the left most plant. It's the largest and latest to start flowering, so should still recover. All leaves underneath the screen have been removed and those above have been thinned out. Next scrog I do I'm going to raise the trays off the ground so there's more working space underneath the screen. I cleaned and filled my reservoir with 30L of EC 2.0 nutrient solution @ph 5.8. I've upped the PK booster to stimulate flowering too.

I learned that lesson the hard way too. Pain in the back trying to reach up under or slid up under the screen. I’m still working on some better ideas for next time.
