Seed Stockers 5 Blackberry Gum Auto's in a SCROG (COBS + Mega Crop)

I think it may be cal mag issue, me myself expecting Cal Mag Bio Bizz tomorrow just in case I start to need it. Never before used Cal Mag products and I may not be expert on that issue but I think those should always be among the top suspects. Anyway, from what I see here and photos posted online it seems to be the case.

Calcium and Magnesium after definitely usual suspects, especially with strong led lights. I'm still not quite sure if my issues are caused by an excess of P and/or K, so I've lowered my EC, dropped the extra PK and added a bit of extra Calcium and Magnesium. Hopefully they'll turn a darker green.

Day 45.

Increasing the EC and adding Ca and Mg has made my plants look worse. I think an excess of P and/or K is causing lockout of Ca and Mg. I've dropped Sweet Candy, lowered Mega Crop to 2g/Gallon and added Calcium and Magnesium. Total EC is 1.2 including 0.5 from my tapwater. Hopefully they'll turn darker green now.

I've given all plants a defoliation and removed lots of leaves. There's a lot more buds than I thought before.

Did you ever try Biotabs?
I am ussing it now with bio bizz light mix and plant is healthier than with anyone I grow before. Not even one spot or color issue on any leaf. Of course HS1 is gentle light, with more powerful may need to add Cal Mag.
I found it unecessary to complicate with measuring EC and PH and ajusting feed with every watering according what we may think plant may needs. It is never ending guessing game.
With biotabs, you just prepeare the earth and after that you just water with plain water entier grow. Cannot be more simplier.

Second this, all my grows on here involved tabs, can't really go wrong, picture of health throughout.

Looking good despite the slight def/lockout. Minor overall and unlikely to effect yield significantly.

Great going on the defol man, good mix of letting light to the flowers but still giving the girl the solar panels to develop.

@Vlapa @Sensi
I haven't tried biotabs but got a starter kit from them a long time ago with Startrex, Biotex and Mycotec. I've been using Bactrex regularly, I just have the Blackberry Gums some today. I was going to look for the old Biotabs and use them for my chilipepper plants.

Thanks Jay. They seem to be flowering OK, so that's good. The Fugue States I have going as well don't have any deficiencies at all. The larger 2 are in 11L pots that get watered every day instead of every 1.5-2 days like the BBGs.

Yeah the defoliation really opened the plants up for the light. Thanks for the compliments.

Day 51.
I've increased the nutrients to EC1.5 by increasing Mega Crop to 2.5g/gallon (6.6g to 10L) and adding some Magnesium. PH is usually around 5.9.

I noticed that the leaves on my DP White Widow that were close to one of the cobs where getting brown spots on them. I've decreased the strength of the main lights to 200W total draw and removed the reflectors to see how the plants react. Maybe the light was too intense. The picture below is one of the WW leaves.

Looks all good to me TF, I think as u say calmag becomes an issue more so with the cobs, if only to leaves I would not sweat it, don't add more notes as not needed and think you could keep the light intensity, lower light will reduce overall bud development.

If brown spots are the only issue, I'd allow it for a greater yield at the end.

Yes I'm slowly going to increase the strength of the lights back to 200W each. The White Widow reacted nicely to the lowered light and some nutrients with a big Calcium boost in it.
