Isn’t it incredible the size difference in 2 weeks? The difference between the 18 day photos and the 32 day ones is impressive.

It is quite amazing to see plants growing so fast. As a botanical enthousiast it's one of the reasons I love growing cannabis =)

Day 33.

Each plant is 24 to 29 cm tall. Lights are 75 cm above the canopy.

I topped up the reservoir with 10L of nutrient solution (Calcium, Magnesium, Coco A+B, Bio Roots, Bio Crop) @ EC 1.8 & pH 5.8. I've increased the amount of Coco A to have more Nitrogen available. I would like the leaves to be a darker green colour.

Day 34 picture.

I'm seeing a strange colouration in the leaves of one plant. They're not uniformly green. Does anyone have any ideas what's going on?

I'm also experiencing what I believe to be a calcium deficiency. Anyone disagree?

If those first couple pictures are starting at the top of the plant I would look at your micro nutrients like zinc, manganese, iron, and sulfur. The last one you showed does look like cal/mag deficiency but if you have that too, I would look real hard at your pH going in and coming out before you start adjusting nutes. Don’t forget to calibrate your meter regularly.

P.S. I’m no expert just tossing that out there. :smoking:

Thanks for the info. I was also thinking of a Manganese deficiency. My pH meter is due for calibration tomorrow. Good tip! I'll check my res pH after calibration. I've never checked the pH of my runoff as I don't have any with Autopots.

Day 35.

The 2 middle plants are really widening up. The 2nd from the right has a side branch that's about to overtake the main stem  It's pretty funky.

I believe they're showing a bit of light stress as well. Hopefully this will pass as they get used to the increased wattage.

I use autopots also and you would be surprised, at times, the difference between the pH of the rez and the tray. I stick my meter right next to the autovalve and read the pH there when I’m having issues.

Just calibrated my meters and took some measurements. It seems my pH meter was 0.5 off. Never had this before and I calibrate each month.

pH of res: 6.3 (should be 5.8)
pH of trays: 6.3 (should be 5.8)

Well at least your trays and rez agreed with each other. I calibrate mine weekly now. At least you have a better idea as to what was going on.
