I don't know how I missed it, but I'm chillin on the back of the bandwagon letting my feet dangle while smokin a doobie from here on out.
Those plants look healthy as can be. Impressed.
My plants always look rough, but put out the good in the end.
I'll be switching nutes, and vegging with MH instead of just HPS all the way through next round.
Hopefully I can get some healthy, happy looking plants like yours.


And a pinch to grow them another inch

Looking sweet, herbal.! If you switch your lights back gradually after the inspection, I can't see why it would be a problem. Do it over three days, maybe. Something like that. Just an idea.

I don't know if you've considered it, or done it, or do it, but in that small space, you could strategically place some frozen bottles of water to bring down temps. Place one in front of your intake so the air comes in and has to flow around the cold bottle, for instance. The bottles give off condensation, raising your humidity, which is beneficial for your young ones. Once they start really flowering, it's not such a good idea anymore, but till then...
It can be a pain in the butt, but with your small, intimate grow, TLC plays a big part, and is just part of the fun of doing it at all, right?

thanks for responding my friend -- ill gradually extend the hours every day/couple of days so no rush at all.

ive actually tried the frozen bottle method and that just melted way too fast for my small space back when it was hitting 88-90 degrees lol.

just glad that i was finally able to get the heat situated -- running at 82 degrees high point with 4 cfls (should be near perfect in my opinion -- thought i would like 78 )

just placed the new leds + cfl so we shall see how the temp is with the set up.

Looking really good Herbal....as usual, keep up the :gthumb: and keep showing micros how its done...cant wait for that LED UFO :booya: good karma blown ur way :smokebuds:

question:

i placed the cfls sideways because i didnt want to block the leds from hitting the plants.

does that work fine? or should i place the cfl back to how i had it orginally (blocking the leds)
(would seem pointless to do this option but i just though that i should ask)

LED distance:

- 12" from the canopy
- cfls are on the left side -- will be rotating the plants everyday if possible

temps:

- after 3 hours = 82 degrees with 3 cfls on.

- turned off the very top one (useless at the moment)
will be checking to see how the temps changes

quick notes:

- will be transplanting the female plant to the final pot when i can
(hopefully tomorrow -- weekend for sure)

- seed #3 still hasnt showed sex yet

I dont think, such a small place will need more than 100W comming from the LED. As I`m doing a quite simmila project at the moment, I thought about this too and decided to mix LED light with 1x 15W 2700k ESL and 1x 26W UV-B (2 hours before sleepingtime, so the ladies put on their pyjamas XD)

- I will put them beside the led panel, due to the fact I got some space there.

I have that same Ufo ....bro MC#2 .THE Colorful lady last time was under this lite solely .....
I got almost 3/4 oughly 19 grams in a small situation ....with ur toe down capability ur gonna rock out with ur .... Out mm..

Bro u gonna love the extra density and when she finishing u can sit that light directly on top ....i did that last few weeks hugging it and I have the most solid buds grinder type buds for the first time ....
If u hold good temp do both bulbs as suggested earlier ....

i just bought/places that light that day as an upgrade. 100w might be enough but the more the merrier (controlled heat)

- led + 2 cfl temp: 81-82 degrees LIGHTS ON
(only 1-2 degrees above the room temp!)

- ill be transplanting the female to its final container tomorrow

Pretty sure lowbudge is referring to the LED case itself, he's saying cut a hole in the case and put the ballast outside so just the light is inside.. this isn't practical for herbal's form of growing IMO, it all has to fit *in* the PC case and not look suspicious.. although PC cases can get pretty nifty, shiny and have lots of holes for fans. :brow:
