This will be my 3rd Grow.:hot:

BOX
I'm using a 3ft tall 3ft wide 18 inch deep Rubbermaid storage container. This box has a large vent on the bottom for air intake (no fan). I'm using a 4 inch fan for the outtake fan, placed on the middle of the back wall. Entire box is lined with reflective material.

LIGHTS
I have Two 65 watt CFL 6500K and Two 42 watt 2700K for a total of 214 watts. I plan on adding two more 65 watt bulbs once the plants are past seedling stage for this grow. That will give me 344 watts total. But the 214 watts has worked ok for my last two grows. I try to keep the plants about 3-4 inch from the light. I also have a 4 inch desk fan blowing on the plants. I need to run the lights 24/0. I would like to run 18/6 but I¡¯m afraid when the lights are out it will get to cold in the box. Box is in a cold basement. Temp has been right around 70 degrees in box. I hope when I add the other two 65 watt light the temp will rise a few more degrees.

SOIL
Promix with a little extra perlite. My PH is just a tad under 7. I will need to lower it soon, easiest way? any advice would be great.

CONTANIER
One 10 gallon Rubbermaid tub with about 10 holes in the bottom. I have this placed in another 10 gallon rubber made to catch the run off. I have 2 bricks in the 1st Rubbermaid for drainage room.

NUTES
Fox Farm Trio
I've been using 1 half tsp per gallon after 2 weeks. Nutes every other watering and molasses when no nutes.

The Start
I germinated 5 seeds in a paper towel on 10/24 around 11 am, on 10/25 less than 24 hours, all 5 seeds had a nice 1/16 inch tail. Put into soil on the night of the 25th. 2 popped on the 27th one on the 28th and one on the 29th. Still need one more to pop up. I will post pics when there is something worth showing. This is a very basic setup but its been working ok, not great, but ok. You can find pics of my last harvest on here. Don't know how to make a link for that thread.

Haha no Jiml, I see you mate. There is just alot of traffic around here so sometimes it is easy to overlook threads. Trust me, keep posting and people will come and give feedback. And it is not a bad thing you don't have a lot of attention, that means your grow is going good. Normally the threads with tons of post is people working through problems with new grows lol. Once the plants get bigger they demand attention anyway haha. But I am now down for the ride friend

Are they all in the same container? If you are pHing your nutes to about 6.3-6.6 it will naturally bring down the pH of your soil a little.

Also do you have a pic of your set up? I am debating on a rubber-maid set-up like yours or a PC box to hold males soon. Need all the plans I can get lol.

keep the updates, I'm pretty sure people are watching ur activity, I am from now on! good luck!!

8th day.jpgThe plants have doubles in size in the last two days. well not all of them but 2 have. this is day 8, anyone think I could use a small amount of nutes or should i wait the full two weeks. I was thining 1/8 strenth of fox farm grow big.

Here is a few pic’s of my set up. I took the pic on my 1st grow, I have made a few changes since then. 1st grow I had a 90 watt led that only lasted 1 ½ grows and 2 65 watt 6500k bulbs. After the led burned out I added one more power strip right above the fan going horizontally. I now have 2 65 wat 6500k and 2 42 watt 2700k. I drilled holes and used zip ties to hold power strips in place. I used a socket with a plug on the end right into the power strips. I will be adding 2 more of the 65 watt bulbs once they are a little bigger.
