Just make life simple and buy the grassroots living soil pots!I wouldn't use anything bigger than 1 gallon indoors anymore (preferably on auto feed). I've only used 3 gal auto pots before, which was the biggest and I didn't care for how big they are. I'm in a 4x4 tent inside. Outside, the bigger the pot the better, straight in the ground best.
You may like 2 gallon better because less watering.
And no fabric pots for me indoor, to much humidity/water lost/water out the sides/etc. If I had them already, I'd wrap at least the sides and top in plastic, to keep humidity from being so bad and cut down on watering. Better even 'line the sides' (not the bottom, unless you are really dialed in), of the fabric pot before putting dirt in.

Have a tarp type liner in them so use less water on don’t dry out as quick and also keeps bag from absorbing part of the water and instead directs it down once it reaches the walls! Cheap too under $7 for my 10gal ones!
