Hi all,
I've posted issues with this grow before but I'm here with an update. Almost all my plants are overall very large (80+ buds) and healthy with the exception of tiny yellow tips of leaves. But this mephisto samsquanch og is throwing issues again. See pics

Running co2 1000-1400 ppm targeting the higher but sometimes as fans increase it lowers a bit.

Humidity trying to keep under 60 in flowering but sometimes low 60s after a watering (20 gal pots hard to avoid) .

Temp is 84-87 but co2 enriched and this is led so I've read leaf temp will be lower than hps/mh

Right now I'm on an every 2-3 day water, water about 3 gallons per pot , 900 ppm nutes on feed day then 200 ppm on off day. I've added cal mag last few weeks due to using rain water and before folks thinking possible cal mag difficult.

Nutes are prescription blend a sponsor on here.

All water ph balanced at 6.40 soil is coco loco and ocean forest and pearlite 1:1:1 with added azomite and myco products.

Recently this plant looked worse so I turned light down a tad and did an extra flush but then it's gotten worse which led me think maybe defficnecy vs too much? Perhaps they need more nutes given their size and co2 enrichment? 6 plants have been scroged to cover 90% of a 4x8 tent.

Lights currently at about 680-800 par depending on location , uvc supplemental lights also from hlg. 18 hr autoflower , dli around 45 -50 right now but ideally I could crank to 55 or so with higher co2.

Anyhow maybe you all can look at the pics and these stats and help ? As an aside I've had nothing but problems with mephisto genes ...seed stockers cheap ones are crushing it meanwhile the primo stuff skywalker (auto) won't flower , 3bog first seed died and this one samsquanch has sensitivity the other 5 don't in same conditions. I'd appreciate any advice though (the others do have slight yellow tips so obviously it effects them too).

Thanks from a new nervous med grower

Could it be that mixing coco loco and ocean forest has made a blend where optimal ph is unachievable? My understanding is that if growing in straight coco loco you’d be aiming for a 5.8 ph and in straight ocean forest the 6.4 you are feeding would be appropriate. Stonington blend my soil of choice is a blend of coco and peat though  My first move would be to test soil ph

They look over fertilised which has left a salt build up, which then locks out other components. I used to get similar results when I grew in soil. Now I only grow in coco and perlite. Your ph will probs be whacky.

You can use stuff like sensizym to make sure you are constantly eating at salts to prevent build ups.

Mixing soil and coco can be a pain in the ass because the ph buffer on the both are different

So the weird thing is I've really fed pretty low intensity compared to the instructions on label , but in wondering if part of the issue is 20 gallon pots and me not being able to get enough water going to adequately cause salts to drain out ? Should I flush it with more water and test ph run off? Or do a soil slurry abd test the top of the water ?

And for the future you think I should jusy use coco loco alone? I have 6 more mixed soil pots I'm about to start , to avoid this issue should I lower ph or feed less on the next batch ?

Thank you!

Yeah I was trying to give them plenty of room I've spent about 5k on this grow lol I mean a lot was invested not each grow of course but im very sad because I've tried to max everything out and the autos I have are huge 80-100 buds each but now they are all dying half way into bloom :( ...I guess my.move at this point is flush Good and test runoff?I didn't anticipate how much water I'd need to lug upstairs each time it's brutal lol.

Your Samsquanch looks better than mine. Mine looks way worst. I’m having some kind of nuts lock out so the plant looks super hungry, yellow leaves all over. Trying to keep this shit alive through the finish line.

I’ve had a few problems with Mephisto stuff as well. I prefer fastbuds genetics these days. They’re pretty consistent and they usually have a decent stretch. I’ve noticed a few people have been talking bad about Samsquanch, but I’ve never grown it.

Here’s a tip for lock out issues:

A preventative measure is best, of course. But always use a root cleaning solution with your feed. I use sensizym. It works!

With using sensizym, the enzymes lifespan is to eat anything your plant doesn’t want. Aka salts. Doing this helps prevent build ups, and proper run off
