It's called a SCreen Of Green (SCROG), and it allows you to get a nice, uniform canopy of buds. All of the buds get pretty much the same amount of light, so there is less popcorn buds and more big buds.

As of yesterday, she's about 3" shorter than my last plant. It's odd, too, because the light is much higher this time. She's looking good, though. I really hope I get a lot of the screen filled up, and plenty of bud sites to produce some funk
