you cant use h202 and enzyme they react and cause a sludge also dont add cal and mag if using dutch master as its balanced and you risk lockout. You could foilar feed if you have seaweed or epsom salts

agito, i already know about using h2o2 with the enzymes. That's not what i was asking really. I'll only be using the h2o2 with fresh water and little to none nutes until this problem gets cleared up. - no zone, no hygrozyme. I'm using RO water so i do believe i still need to add the cal/mag. my other plants respond well to it just fine. Are you saying to stop adding it completely?

How big is your rez?
---The amount of hydrogen peroxide is dependent on rez size
How long ago & for how many days was rez temp high?
I have some personal issues with Dutch Master but I know several local growers who swear by them.
I'm pretty sure though you don't need to add cal/mag with the Gold series unless the plants are asking for it.
So you might have TOO much cal/mag (I know it sounds crazy but it happens).
Like I pm'ed you, flush & change your rez, add minimal nutes but just the Dutch Master for now, and add some hydrogen peroxide.

thanks tbm...i had a feeling i added too much cal/mag when i upped it to 15ml instead of 10. it was an accident because my cali hash is a cal/mag monster and after changing all the buckets my measurements started to get all fumbled.

i mix 2 gallons of water in a 3.5 gallon bucket. i check ph and temps at least every other day, i'd say the longest it was at 80 was 4 hours tops and this was in august when it was still a seedling. If i don't need the cal/mag with the dutch master gold then i'll take your word on it, what's your personal beef with Dutch Master? I picked it up on the recommendation of the hydro guy but as you know i'm a newbie so these are the only ones i've tried so far...was hoping to use em all up before i tried another brand but hmmmm, maybe i should pick up new stuff for my future runs? I'm just worried i'll wind up with half bottles of stuff and waste money while they sit there and go bad.

Thanks a lot for your help on the matter. How long should i wait until going back to normal with my feeding schedule?

I would stop using cal mag or use very little to see if it helps
there is a method i have seen but not tried as i dont need ro water is to use 50/50 25-75% mix of your tap water to add the background buffer this may help

Also on another topic about your tea dwc which may help you
I perfected a method of not using veg nutes by lining your net pots with hydrotron and maybe a membrane (so no water is in direct contact with soil) and fill with soil , the plant uses the soil minerals to help supplement your tea this can be further enhanced by adding rock minerals and friendly fungi to the soil mix

at that strength your looking at 3ml per gallon up to 5ml h202 is good stuff as it breaks down into o2 and leaves the res in hours

I gotta say that the syrup has recovered nicely from the cal/mag problem and leaves are looking green and healthy now and has grown almost a foot in the past week! Thanks for the help TBM and Agito. Will post pics when there is a little more bud formation

I did, unfortunately have to go 12/12 on her with my photos because my new tent has not gotten here yet, my light bill is outrageous and those 2 photos were begging to be flowered out. Not to mention i need everything done, chopped, dried and in jars before the new year as in in laws are planning on gracing us with their presence around that time.

needless the say, the syrup will not grow to its full potential but i am okay with that.

My next round of autos will be reserved for the new tent and will include a whole bunch of bad bettys and purple jems. Still waiting for them to get to me! :thumbs:

Keeping my eye on your syrup.... It was easily my favorite out of all the Buddha strains I grew. It really has that wow factor when it comes to taste and smell.
