Indoor 2nd grow - Syrup

Hm.. I really wasn't impressed with the Deimos but I didn't get a 100 day Pheno, plant was done in about ~74 days from seed. Very good yield with a typical NL buzz. Any shots of the Quasar spel? I've been looking into it and it's kind of a mystery strain with the genetics vague anywhere you look.

I'm not sure I'd grow deimos again... With the pheno I got you might as well just do a photo. My opinion might have changed if it only took 74 days though. I do have to say without her I would not have had enough of a harvest to last me until my current photos finish. She also has a pretty good yield when I make BHO.

here's what Quasar looked like on the 25th of sept before flower and supercropping. Very evenly structured plant...

Here she is a few days ago, after i supercropped her ass. She's taller than my cali hash plant that is a month older than her!

loving life in the tent...

Looking good! Been waiting to see some flowers, glad it's growing so vigorously! Are you going to leave it at that with the suppercropping? I've found that if you do it too late into flower it really hurts yield, its good if the plant already has a knuckle formed by flower time, then the suppercropping really helps put on the weight.

thanks for that little tip Surf! yeah i'm just leaving her how she is for now. The main branch has already got a good sized knuckle where i twisted her and the smaller branches are thinner, i'm not seeing the knuckles on those guys. I'm just hoping she doesn't get too much taller or i'll have to LST with my yo yo hangers which work great but are a pain in the ass when i need to get to the rez...plus i think that lst throught flower had something to do with my low yield on my first plant that power kush. If you remember, i was very pleased with the quality but a little disappointed with my 2.5 ounce yield. I'm sure long veg time had partly to do with it but i did also tie her down severely.

Quasar might need to go in to a 5 gallon bucket. her roots are gettin rediculous. I'm looking forward to her flowers surf, she started out as the underdog, all small and weak but once she hit day 35 she just took off on me. and now in flower she just is going crazy! lol good stuff.

thanks for staying tuned ;)

I figured some nice things might come from that little seed from what I have heard about the strain! I did mention the suppercropping thing because of your low yield on the Power Kush, I think it's best to let them be when they're flowering... Will you be taking any clones?

Unfortunately no clones will be coming off the quasar. I simply don't have the room.

Waiting on my new tent set up to get here wit a 600 watter. It will be my veg tent for clones and home for all my autos.

Let's hope she stops stretching like now. I don't wanna tie her down but will if she gets too high. Gotta tie up the rowdy ones! Lol

Photo whore

ok i know i know. I post way too many picture updates. I can't help it so bear with me. It's nice to keep track of any changes so that in future grows i have a detailed journal to referance.

wanted to show some bud development. She's going through a funky smell change. not sweet so much smelling anymore but rather a rotten fruit almost shit smell! hoping it goes back to fruity lol.

finally some bud formation. keep in mind shes on a 12/12 light schedule now so final yield on her may be in the lowers. no biggy though, still expecting yummy sticky buds from her :smokeit:

Close up of buds forming...

size comparison...

side view, shes about a foot and a half tall...

and a birds eye view, although my cat Butternut seemed to sneak in this photo too...he's always eyeballing my plants and one look away and he's chewing on a leaf!

you can never have enough updates :jump:

They like to be on film

You can see here in this vid update that syrup is getting lost in the tent. All in the back corner, getting bullied by the quasar and cali hash. :finger:

Not expecting much bud off her :(

but those other 2 beauties in there are gettin rowdy! :howdy:

welcome to the root show?
