Indoor 2nd grow - Syrup

Thanks West!

Shes comin along... :hump:

and when i rub my fingers along her leaves, she lets off this sweet sweet smell! i love it already :booya:

Happy Birthday!

She's 30 days old today guys!

Tonight, if i have time, i'll be giving her a first taste of food. Guessing i'll aim for just under 300 ppm. Do you guys think that will be too hot for her?

No , she can handle it , you could of gave her food after 1 week of life , oh and yeah i think she is a bit undeveloped for 30 days , go check out my thread and see how some 33 days old look , you'll figure it out yourself.I don't want to dissrespect your plant sir but your doing something wrong or that's just me.oh and almost forgot , stop rubbing your fingers on her leafs , that causes the leaf to dry out and eventually fall.

wait what? what exactly am i doing wrong? the only disrespect you've shown is by calling me sir lol. im a female. :dancer:

Can someone else chime in here and tell me what they see wrong with my plant. Granted she is a bit small but as i saw with my 1st auto run in hydro, they start out small then explode once i start feeding her...and because i am growing in DWC giving her food after 1 week of life would have burned her.I did the same thing with my diesel ryder, fed her too soon burned her, flushed and learned my lesson.

Are you growing in soil? I've noticed soil grows always start off bigger because the soil already has some food for the plant so i'm not real big on comparing the 2, especially only after 30 days.

I've also never head that rumor about rubbing the leaves...i do it often to get what kindo of smell shes giving off and have not had any dying dried out leaves...on ANY of the plants i've done it to. I know of many growers here who rub leaves...

I'll check out your plants gotblunt but telling me to figure it out for myself makes doesn't contribute any lol. She looks green and healthy to me!

going to give her 1st dose tonight...we will see by next week if 300 ppm is her sweet spot for now or not.

in hydro you give food at day 1 as theres no npk in water you should start at 400-560ppm-600-840ppm depending on meter brand and check the ppm the next day to see if its gone up or down or stay were its at but you would have starved your plants

Every plant and grower is different, but telling people to start nutes at one week isn't good advice IMO. Autos are sensitive to nutes and most of the breeders and top growers do not recommend starting that early. The lifespan is so short that if you burn them it's hard to recover. This site is full of pics from people who have fried young plants by feeding early.

I personally think the plant looks great. 30 days is right about the time for a growth spurt, and the nutes should give it a kick start.

Maybe it's right for you , but for me it aint , btw sry spelsylver for calling you sir , didn't knew your a female. And hell no! plants don't grow faster in soil , you got that all wrong , agito is right , using hydro you need to feed them immediately because they don't have food and no you won't burn your plants by giving them nuts faster than the breeder said , start with small quantities until you reach the quantity needed.

thanks a lot andy. i got paranoid for just a second lol.

i'll start low and work my way up...see what she needs and make sure not to over do it.

I'm really loving the smell coming off her. Doesn't really smell like weed smells more like straight up candy! very very sweet. im excited to see her flower.

thanks again andy, and surff, i see you lurking but where you been man? so quite around the forum lately or maybe i haven't been looking around enough lol. I know you like to help out the newbies here, you rock for that! :pimp:

Andy in hydro you need to mimic the strength of composts 0.6-0.8 ec might have the same strength as seedling compost and 1.2-1.8 might be closer to a medium/higher compost if you do not add food its like giving a baby no milk just water in the end the plants normally starve to death.

Andy does not grow in hydro i think he missed that bit i have
