Indoor 2nd grow..2 nirvana auto bubblicious in 1 gal airpots, 270 watt LED

Hey spiker, I noticed with my bubblicious after I switched to bloom nutes they still require some additional N to keep em green. I've been feeding mine just like a photoperiod plant and it loves it. Your plants are looking good man. I haven't tried the small airpots I have a hard enough time keeping 7gal pots wet. Good luck man

Thanks for the post feenix! My bottom leaves turned yellow died first. Hence my thought of nitrogen deficiency possibility due to the size of the pots and underwatering. My lights are the the 3 watt I think....I'll verify later. And post the answer. The idea of going horizontal earlier had crossed my mind ...thinking of a mock scrog.

Stepside...I have felt it was nitrogen issues as well....I have continued with grow nutes well into bloom for that reason. Still bloom nutes as well. Next grow I'm going to 3gal pot since my space is minimal. I had yellowing leaves on my blue mystic as well...just not quite as much...I think 1-gal pots are just not able to hold the nutes. Next grow I hope tip probe this out.

I'm just seeing a fairly uniform yellowing, not counting the very bottoms which usually contact the soil, and none is close up so I could be wrong for sure. I have the same Mars/Hydro reflector in the 144 x 3w configuration and cooked my first run pretty good. I caught it in time but it effected the yield. I was at about 30 cm from the tops. I'm not suggesting no N. Just to go lightly if it is an off schedule feeding. Specially since others know them to be Nitrogen hungry normally.

Spikerbiker. In case I just added to confusion on what to do, here is a blurb from Muddys When To Harvest.

"That's something we've been doing a little experimenting on. Scott817 has been maintained a higher N level right up until flush with some positive results. I'm intending to do the same with my current grow and see what the results are."

I haven't looked for a follow up because of the server change.
That was written in 2011.

Don't worry about confusing me! That happened long before I got here...lol. My last grow looked pretty bad in the last few weeks too..thing is the buds do look good...just leaves I'm not thrilled with, but hoping to get 28 grams out of the 2 in the end. Let me post the latest pics. Tell me what you think.

I think they look pretty darned good ... nearly 9 weeks old and almost ready for harvest ... beginning the self trim period of the grow ... Keeping those two watered in 1 gal airpots must of had you feeling like Gunga Din ... I'm guessing a good three zips ... Had you done this grow as 1 plant in the 3 gal pot it would be a beauty but may not have produced any more bud ...

Thanks for the pep talk Chester! I'm thinking about 2 weeks to harvest....Since I'm using roots organic line of ferts, I'm going to do one more large feed this week - Probably Wednesday.... then water only until the end...does that sound like a good plan, or should I feed until the end?

I also raised my lights up to highest point last night which gives about 7 inches clearance between top of highest bud and lights...vertically challenged in my space. My usable area for plant and pot is 36 inches high, 23 inches wide and 16 inches deep. I thought it was more but its not. With a 3 gal pot...I'm going to try some variation of SCROG to fill the space more uniformly and keep the height down if I can figure that out. LOL
