yeah, i mentioned overwatering a few times to him, but he insisted he wasnt overwatering. So i dont know, im stuck. Anyhow, aptmixx, listen to cap'n cure, hes great help. Squid and I are still new growers, but have alot of research under our belts.

This is a true statement, aptmixx ^^^^^ :D Listen to the Captain.

yeah, might be overwatering... but def looks ph - lockoutish too... if its actually at 7.0 that would explain it... i usually dont see issues at 6.8 but around 7 i see it starting sometimes... :toke:

no, I'm actually clueless... people just go around talking me up... :crying:

Lol same. @ Atpmixx Its def nitrogen the problem lies in proper ph testing and the Answers that are givin. It's best to have a calibrated digital Ph tester to start with then go from there. each strain and even plant to plant can react differently under the same circumstances. Thats why your AKR could be showing a def but not your la diva even tho things are relatively the same. Taking that your saying your not over watering then the next move would be to get am accurate reading of your PH run off and adjust accordingly.

Hey fellas. Just got home to read all your responses. Thanks so MUCH! I spoke too soon on the La Diva, as of today her one lower fan leaf is starting to go yellow. Like I said before, have to wait till payday for a fancy pants ph meter. But I did want to try to run some kind of confirmation test with two different systems to see if they were in the same ballpark. Im thinking it's nute lock out, only because the La Diva was on a lighter nute schedule, and now she is going yellow as well. So, for the moment think Ill add some sulfer and straight water, lower that ph down. Again, with me not having a great ph meter it says 7.0, could be a smidge higher, but I did figure out it's not low enough to where I need it.

As for watering, I swear I dont think Im over watering! :o Grow was right, they have been on about 12-24 oz of water a week.

The good news they are booming with height! I think the AKR caught up with the La Diva overnight! Pistols showing brightly. Now it's my turn to get the elements correct so they can thrive. Time to inbox Muddy to figure out how much sulfer should help me lower the ph. And whether it should be given in the soil, or water. Thanks again for ALL the help.

Sounds like a good plan bro. I'm sure it is a little higher then your test is showing. I've seen people use the prong meters along with the liquid dropper test and the prong was showing 7 and the dropper around 6.5 trying to match color. When I went over with my Hanna meter it was 5.9. I always preach to
People and in your case it's a little late but when I have friends growing or people new growing on forums and they ask what soil, light or seeds to buy I always tell them before you buy anything for your grow even nutes get a good digital Ph meter. When the first problem rises you can fix it
Immediately. A lot better then beings few weeks into a problem asking questions of what's wrong and the first question is " what's your Ph?" then you have to run out and buy one or order one and wait for it in the mail and by that time you've lost a week or 2. Good luck bro and lower Ph karma your way! :wiz:

Hey everyone. Sorry Ive been MIA for a little bit. Had alot of work drama to deal with, and about three different repair men who needed access to my laundry (aka grow) room. The girls got a field trip to the closet for a few days!

Update time! The girls are looking pretty sad. I followed the advice of Muddy and added some sulfur to the mix, and sprayed the girls with Grow Big water a few times. Obviously the sulfur takes time to bring down the ph. I added it to the mix one week ago today. Some leaves went yellow and fell off, although growth has continued despite the problems. I ordered a Hanna ph pen that should be here soon to get an accurate ph reading on the soil. We're at a "wait and see" moment, waiting for the ph to drop, and seeing if the girls can recover. I am thinking this will be a pretty underwhelming yield come harvest time.

I did notice that some of the white pistols are starting to turn colors on the La Diva. Isnt this a bit soon you think? Well, we have one more week until the girls hit the flowering stage (I think Im correct on that time table). Let's see if I cant pump them up before than!

Hey Atpmixx,
Good to see you back, been looking out for fresh posts.

You know I can’t offer any advice as I know absolutely nothing, but I’m sending you all the positive vibs and good karma I can your way and hope things turn around for you.

All the best mate
Oldboy

Thanks for the good vibes Oldboy! I also today amended my order for my hanna ph pen, I was able to add a hanna ph calibrator mix (a little piece of advice from Grow) should be here by Tuesday. Things are looking up!!!
