As a newbie I was checking it everyday and everything seemed fine. By the time I got into bloom I had slacked off and when issues started, I checked and it was all way too high. I guess if you want to keep nutes high, you need to be meticulous about checking everything every day so you can make adjustments before it's too late. I've pretty much decided to go the half strength route as others have said its easier to fix a deficiency then it is to fix over doing it. I'd rather chance a lower yield than a burned up dead crop.I'm sure you'll find a lot folks here doing 1/2 strength or less with some pretty impressive results.
Right on dan.
Everything seemed fine until mid bloom when i over fed as well..

It's hard for my old eyes not being able to zoom in but this is what I had/have (it won't go away)I think thats the main thing, but you guys got me a bit paranoid lol.
You said one of your plants 'rusted '.
Did it look like this:View attachment 1102260
That was my Chemdogging from my first grow, and I attributed it to the lights being too close, but maybe the EC was sky high? I didnt have an EC meter so I dont know. I'll keep an eye. The one is within 300 and the other 500 and falling. If they stall I'll flush lol
Ive grown 2 white widows and 2 og kush from seed. 4 different seeds. @1200 ppm i burnt them all without any significant nite burn sign. The og kush handled it better and produced better, but still majorly damaged. Widows are known to be light feeders and indeed 2 very big plants (45x45cm each, scrogged) barely produced 70g. So yeah genetics play a role, and you probably could have done better... Probably...Is it just genetic differences? I did mostly the same thing to each plant, and some seemed to take it just fine? Then again, like I said above, I didnt check EC, so maybe by chance some had adequate runoff more often?
Genetic differences--- I got 5 girls going, all the same strain, all in the same space, lights feeding schedule. Everyone has their own personalities to the point I have 4 pretty much ready for harvest and 1 probably 3-4 weeks behind. They were all topped, trained and trimmed a bit different though. I think you'll find for every grower here, there is a different formula they follow-what works best for them. You'll find your way and as soon as you think you have it sussed out, you'll grow another strain and be tearing your hair out.Is it just genetic differences? And yessir that looks like nute burn, maybe heat stress but not light stress... Light stress looks like bleaching the leaf and flower becoming white / pale yellow.. ive only ever had this once..
Oh btw are these pics from right now or last gro
