225 ppm tap water

Ok 262 PPM is to high for starting dilute with RO or DI to get it under 200 PPM. Ok so 369 PPMs of nutrients is right where it should be for week 2. This means you should be able to use their chart at~60% strength.

thanks for the quick reply man!
but where is the 60% coming from though? since I mixed that one gallon at 100%, and got 369ppm, and 369 is right on for week two, why wouldn't it be 100%?

It was an extrapolation 2ml+2ml+2ml nutes in 1 gallon = 369 PPM is good for 2nd week Their schedule for late veg 8ml+4ml+2ml is 2.25 times stronger or
861 PPM and I think that is too strong for veg Autos in hydro. 861x 60% = 516 and IMPO a better PPM.

I would advise you to stop using PPM as a measurement for your nutrient solution and switch straight away to EC. PPM can vary depending on what region in the world the meter originally came from. Both PPM and TDS are not foolproof methods of determining the amount of nutrients in a solution.

Here is a conversion chart for the different EC measures:

Thanks for all the info, esp the EC. I will start doing that.
I am actually still pushing them pretty hard and going a little higher than I should and they seem to be doing well. There was a guest in the house where I am growing almost every night last week and I wasn't able to do anything, but they look fine. Ph has remained stable for 5-6 days.

I changed the res last night and went with 1/2 of what the label said. I don't have numbers with me, but I think I am at about 550 ppm now. I do still have a little bit of tip burn on the new growth, but overall they look very good.

@Mañ'O'Green Is it correct to assume that hanna means seedling, Eutech means veg and Truncheon means flower?
No, each of these is a different algorithm to calculate the EC. and has noting to do with the plant stage. Different meters use different algorithms to display the corresponding scales.
