Lighting 2020 parts list required 4 DIY

do you really like that light? Seems Chinese and weak for flowering great bud???

I agree..
I had the same opinion when I considered buying the first one.
Did a lot of research and found most people loved the results.
So I took the dive.
Enjoyed the results like most other folks...and bought a second one.
Got the second on an Amazon special for $135.
But at $150ish...you can't go wrong.
Are there better lights for flowering, yeah probably.
But none I know of at this price.
And they can be dimmed for seedling stage.

My budget is 250.00 delivered. :)
Or you can have a look at the Mars Hydro TS1000 (which I have).
Here > https://www.ledgrowlightsdepot.com/products/mars-ts-1000.
@$159 US delivered and no tax...
This is a no brainer.
Hey @Builder0101 , @GeorgeCloney , the TSW2000 is 300w, and the coverage is 3'x3' at flower stage, 4'x4' at the veg stage, the previous price is 249usd in the USA. And the TS1000 is 150w, coverage is 2'x2' at flower stage and 3'x3' at the veg stage, the previous price is 129usd.
Many guys know that seriously out of stock these days, and all cost is increasing, so we increase our price to limit growers purchase quantity. If the growers are not urgent, can wait, when the stock back to normal, the price will back to the right price:joy:

For less than $150 or a little more depending on how many boards you drive. You can build a great light using Horticultural Lighting Group's QB 132. The boards come in sets of 4 for $99.00 if you really want just one board light an LPF-60-36 costs about $29. These boards can be driver to 60 watts without a heatsink! An HLG240H-C1400 will drive all four and sells for $56.00 ( pricing based on Mouser as a supplier, I highly recommend ). You could run all 4 boards dimmed to say 80 watts and have a great spread. Light weight without heatsinks. I ran it's predecessor, the QB 120 for over a year with little heat and no harm to the boards.
wiring and hardware maybe another $15. You couldn't buy a light this good for this price.

Thanks for that info @pop22
Indeed great advice.
A single TS1000 from Mars Hydro is still $130ish for 150 watts.
What I particularly like about your proposal.
Is that the light is spread between 4 boards:thumbsup: for double the power and roughly the same price.
The added benefit being each board is closer to the plant ( so less loss).
Brilliant,
( ya get it...ya get it...ah f+×÷ck it...:eyebrows:

I have a COB based light that works very well, but I'm replacing it because these boards give me 6-8 inches more headroom, weight 10 lbs less and are more efficient to boot. Going to give the cob light to a friend. My only remaining cobs will be my Autocobs as I use them here and there for fill in. Might even hang one in the greenhouse over an auto that's in a pot! But for me, QBs are the ultimate light at least for a few years and maybe this is where I stop. We'll see.

Here I'm using QBs to grow in a small cabinet. I use it for clones and seedlings mostly but decided to do a grow just for fun. The light is 2 QB 288 running at 130 watts from the wall .The plants are Dolly Dragon ( Big Bud x Drurrty Dragon ) in .75L cottage cheese containers. Wish my 2 Liter contest plant had come out like these! The budsicle is growing in a 3.5" starter pot.

Going to be running HLG's new Diablo board, 648 LEDs including far reds.
