a long time ago there was 4 wallpapers/themes 2 red 2 green they had names but i cant remember.one of the reds was so good things really stood out crisp clear.the green themes quotes blend into posts.maybe im colour dislexic.

Being a webdesigner i find the site a bit dated looking.* contents awesome* willing to help with this, you guys have gave me so much would be great to give something in return.

Picture handling the ability to modify on upload simple rotation.

Https being handled correct mostly issues with images on the site not being https.

There is nothing really that can be done about that other than removing the img tag in the bbcode.
That gives people the ability to embed images from non https sites.
Oh, and all of the adverts seem to be linked to non-https which throws the security warning in browsers on EVERY page.
e.g. the seedsman ad at the top and bottom of this page links to non-https even though the seedsman site forces https (issue with the actual links themselves, not the seedsman site)

Yeah, I just threw the advert one in at the end when I realised (as I was writing) that they were poorly inserted.

Unfortunately, we are now opening up a whole can of worms regarding forums.
Because people create the content in a forum, it is almost impossible to police. Links are parsed by the actual browser, and not the forum code.
99% of the time, people write links with 'www'. They rarely, if ever (unless they copy/paste the URL) even use http://
When the site owners create all the content, they have control. Forums basically have no control

That's true, so we would really need to force using the upload function. which isnt a bad idea. down to really there hosting package and space .

Keep it coming guys, this is exactly what the admins want to hear. They understand that you are not slagging us off or "having a go" the more constructive criticism the better.

The style of the forum has not changed a great deal since the first day I logged on 5 years ago, so yes I am comfortable with it, but it is so true that we look old fashioned. We need to change that and look more modern and professional for sure. Keep your comments coming and thanks for taking the time to give your opinions.
