Update! Alright so the ladies are doing well, no problems so far... Still unsure which day I'm at but somewhere in the 3rd week I believe.
The 2 ER's are showing pre-flowers and 1 dwarf is as well. Feeding with 3/4 dose of FloraMicro, seems to be taking it well... I will wait until all the ladies show their pre flowers then I will make the switch to
HPS, sometime later this week hopefully.. I hope they will grow "big" in the next few weeks, not that they dont have the room for it hah.

Cheers!

Can someone explain to me why the hell they are growing so slow?? It seems the more I look at other auto grows, by week 3 they're much bigger than mine are.. I know the dwarves were planted a few days after but they are still way small.. The ER's are doing good but I still feel like they should be much bigger by now.. The ERs are sitting at approx day 20 ish... I Just switched to HPS from MH this morning, hopefully that will help out a bit.. Also feeding with 3/4 dose of FloraMicro... I'm thinking it may be the Pro Mix Hp giving it a slower start due to not having nutes in it?? Any comments or advice would be good !

hey man I'm not qualified to give advice. but i have had a couple strains get to week 3 in a few different types of pots and soils and some took a couple days longer or shorter. but either way man, i hope they keep on growing! good luck

How are your temps? Runoff pH? Assuming you've got all your conditions dialed in, you could always bump up the nute dose and see how they do. From the pics I don't see any sign of burn, so you could probably go higher with it, though I have no experience with FloraMicro.

I haven't checked my Runoff PH as of yet, something I will do. My water is pretty much neutral, and the Pro Mix seems to well balance my PH level with that dolomite... My temps are ranging from the mid 70's to the low 80's (74-82) on average, depending on the day... I've only done 2 or 3 waters with the Micro, so far so good... done 1/4 feed, now I'm at 3/4. I'll bump it up to full by the end of the week I think, see what happens...

Yeah, you definitely want to make sure the pH is on track. My first grow I thought everything was great as the plants were growing well and I was putting in 6.5 water. About a month in things went bad really quickly and when I checked the runoff it was below 5. Cost me almost all the fan leaves and quite a bit of yield.

As for the nutes, it's a tough call. The standard advice with autos is to take it really easy with feeding, especially as a new grower or with unfamiliar strains. But I like to push the plants a little, and I think I still have probably erred on the side of underfeeding rather than overfeeding. Especially starting with an unferted medium, you probably have some more room to up the dose. Sounds like you've got a good plan to get there. If it's any consolation, I've had some of my best yields from slow starting plants, so just remember that it's a marathon, not a sprint. :smoke:
