I got 2 free haze autos after ordering 1 critical jack from dinafem. The attitude has a special where if you order ANY dinafem seed, you get the 2 autos for free...if you get 3 seeds, they up the amount of free seeds they send.

so i ordered that critical jack and the syrup from buddha. i already got the cali hash and biesel going so with these new ones i'll have 5 plants going at once. 4 definate girls and the biesel is a toss up still. Although i would be really really happy if my biesel turns out to be a girl!

I'm having trouble finding a good journal for the haze to read from. I'd like to know how these babies eat and what to look for and what not.

surf, i like your journals cuz your so detailed and a VERY knowledgeable cat. can't wait to see how your syrup turns out!

Thanks for the kind words Spel! I try my best but still learning every day, wish I had grown any kind of haze but I haven't so I don't know how they feed, but you seem to have the green thumb so I'm positive you will have it down in a matter of days... It's not easy, especially with DWC, to pull a first grow like you did, you didn't drown or over nute, and you trained it on intuition which is a good sign that you're understanding how plants work. The guys down at the local hydro store were having big problems with their DWC buckets (heirloom tomatoes) on display constantly while I was watching your Power Kush explode!
If I see anything on auto haze I'll let you know!:smokeit:

And stone, I was thinking that if you are having trouble with the early feedings, you could always mix in a little soil (1/6th) in the upper half of the pot and that should get most small autos through the first couple of weeks, then what I do is start at a quarter strength nutes and work my way up until I find the right dose. It doesn't take long and your yield will not suffer noticeably if you adjust quickly... If you're worried about pests being in the soil just keep a nice thick (1-2 inches) layer of pearlite or sand on top of the coco mix...

Hi surffreak23, thanks for the advice. I bought a bag of perlite yesterday and I'm about to put some on the top because my LR2 is not going well last 3 days. After flushing a week ago I fed her a half dose veg and 1/4 bloom nutes but lower fan leaves started yellowing, the plant looks droopy and the growth is stunted, the new growth is pale green and leaves curling down, stalks turning purple. I suppose some kind of deficiency (nitrogen maybe). So yesterday I hit her with full dose veg and bloom nutes and I will not feed and water today to see how she's going. What do you think, mate? Any advice? I don't think is normal 4 weeks old plant to start yellowing. And sorry for hijacking your thread. How are your girls doing? Post some pics of your LR2 for comparison please.
Here are some pics from this morning.

Well Both LR2s are female which is ok I guess but I'm looking for a dad and can't seem to find one... Anyway here are the two LR2s One bush and one shorty nug plant... All three are at day 34, the syrup is still growing slow and isn't worth a picture...

It definitely looks to be a nitrogen deficiency with the red stems and yellow leaves Stone, it's possible you may have a PH problem, do you check your water at all? Also could just be that not enough time has passed since the flush for the plant to start recovering and taking more nutes... My last problem was on a photo plant that was super hungry for Magnesium, and from the time I saw it and started treating it, it didn't slow down and stop until 10-12 days later...

Here's some pics of my LR2s, they still have not been fed anything at all but tap water left to sit 24 hours outside, sitting in manna mix soil (coco added) from Vital Earth, in (10L) ~2.5 gallon pots...

Thanks for the reply. I do check my water with PH test kit and after putting nutes I adjust it to 6.0. I know it is not so accurate and I need a descent PH meter but maybe will get one next month.
Maybe you are right that she needs more time to recover. Today watered with full dose veg and 1/4 bloom nutes (I use Hesi line) just to measure the run-off and see how much she drinks - only about 250 grams which I think is a small amount at this age. I remember my Pakistan ryders grow (my first grow) were drinking about 2 liters a day since week 4. How much yours drink?
Still trying to figure out the right dose of nutes and kind of experimenting at the moment but I know it depends on the strain. My Paki was a hog on nutes while my Blue cheese was very sensitive and I fed her lightly.
Do you think it's a good idea if I put some Epsom salts with next watering or to use normal dose nutes? I know it's a coco question but I can't seem to find any coco thread here.
Anyway, there is something wrong but I'll wait a couple of days and see.

Your girls look healthy and happy

I must start off by saying that I don't think you have either a calcium or magnesium deficiency and personally for LR2 (in soil not coco) there is normally no issue with this... That said it is also not bad for a plant to have a little excess Cal/mag in the soil; so if you want you can give her a double dose of cal/mag and call it good for the grow I expect. I don't use and have never used epsom salt as I use Cal/Mag from Botanicare. Epsom salt is magnesium only; contains no calcium, so you must use something else for that (like eggshells) if you want to go the salt route...

Just figured I'd throw some pics up... Starting with a group photo, they were all popped on the 18th of July so they are just over a month from germ... (10 liter pots)

I'm thinking I'll dust em both on the lower branches, I'm getting low on LR2 seeds anyway... Shit with the plush on the way maybe I'll just let them both get fully seeded! Also got 4 in party cups right now, one of them better be a male...

Just a Syrup update until I get more photos...
Looking good now, very stocky and looks like it can hold some weight...
