When I do General thinning, meaning I'm not trying to purposely slow down the Plant, I'll take just one leave from each main stem at a time. First I look for inner leaves that are covering the most nodes, try to find a big fat one covering two or three nodes. Mostly starting off you stick to the interior of the plant, because that's where you're going to find the leaves that are covering up the most Bud sites. I probably wouldn't take more than 4 or 6 total off that plant at one time. Then I would probably just wait a few days to see how she responds.
