Yeah man I totally understand about wanting variety, and I get what you are saying about the water height-but you also have a fix if you put the drain at the top like you said. But either way you can totally keep both plants, I am just sayin what I would do lol

Fuck me man I thought I saw some white specs on leaves and it's freaking me out. My humidity is too damn high with this hydro setup. I've been getting wet spots on leaves and my humidity is 52-60%. I'm really hoping I can buy one of those cheap 50$ dehumidifiers as a solution that actually works. Just not sure how well they work for this type of application. I'll probably commit seppuku if the best plant i've ever grown ends up with freaking powdery mold. I wasn't even planning on cutting anything off the plant but I freaked out so much I started taking fan leaves off and I took a good 2-3 lower bud sites off that weren't going to get any light anyway. Defoiling is supposed to help with humidity so hopefully the few leaves I cut off make a difference. Probably not though as this is one big humid bitch lol.

Ordering that dehumidy asap! also will post comparison pics between my first SH grow and this dwc SH grow since she is now at day 38. ;D

I used the same nutes for both grows. It's damn crazy the difference in growth. The original sh was way into flower at this same point in it's life.

My humidity right now fluctuates from 60 woth lights off on the high end to 35 on the low with lights on. It was higher but I did what u did and opened up the canopy and trimmed a little

Also my first grow I got a little bit of powdery mold used peroxide/alcohol sprayed her down heavy with a mister air dried with a standing fan did this twice then harvested and I didn't dir

Guys I've been lazy and still haven't really done much to save the gc from the greedy sh lol. I've pruned some leaves but that's about it. She has reached 36" tall and I've now raised my light to the max height before I have to remount it for 5 more inches or so. Raised ppm to 1060, might be too hot for the gc but oh well!
