New Grower 1st Indoor Grow-Hillbilly Rigged Setup

Humidity is ranging from mid fifties to upper sixties. Temps in the utility closet are ranging between 78 during the day and 70 at night. I’m kind of on pins and needles hoping the dry goes well. It’s at 51 hrs now, quite a bit of moisture remaining. Fighting the urge to speed up the dry and make sure PM or mold don’t set in since the outside humidity will continue to be really high for another few days (75-98%):yoinks:

humidity has been hangin 65-70% on the inside up here the past couple dayz with all the rain...jus make sure u got a fan goin for good airflow whilst dryin & u should be ok...jus might take a lil longer is all ;) ppp

The Bastard hillbilly was hanging for 4 days. Cut into nugs and put in paper bags to finish drying. Getting closer! :woohoo:

The hillbilly Purple Bastard Eater is dry, jarred and beginning the curing process.

The weight is in! Produced 34.06g!! I’m really pleased considering it was grown in a small 2l container and had to endure suboptimal conditions. @RocBudInc genetics for the win!

Buds are respectably dense, sticky and smell wonderful after drying. Sampled a tester bud and it already smokes nice before beginning to cure. Smooth, tasty and a really nice high.

Thanks for following the 2nd hillbilly rigged journey! It is oddly rewarding to work with a goofy set up like this (if you haven’t seen the sparse conditions this grew in, cruise back in the thread and have a laugh).

I’ll check back in after a decent cure.

Good to hear from you! Haven’t been growing this summer as I’m overstocked with smoke but I’m really missing it!! I’ve been contemplating the next adventure. Stay tuned! :peace::jointman:

Hey Tom! I managed to not screw up the dry or cure. I like the PBE more than I thought I would. The smell has evolved from strong perfume to more grape dominant. Smokes smooth, really nice flavor on the exhale. Seems to be pretty balanced hybrid with a lean to the indica side. It has been my go to jar. I’m going to have a hard time not running it again on my next adventure! Thanks for stopping by!!

Conditions can get pretty wonky in this set up, so good results or fail it should at least be interesting!
