New Grower 1st grow - Girl Scout Cookies Auto

I made a big mistake.. somebody told me it is not spider mites but thrips..
i saw some silver reflections on the leaves ..so i think he's right..
I am really a total noob ahahaha !

Anyway the receipe up is okay for thrips too, i'll just do it after in a garlic decoction.
And put some onion skin on the ground.

I lower the humidity to 50% and will spray often the leaves with water.
Maybe i'll change the top substract where the eggs are..

This morning i treated my plants with the blacksoap-lime-oliveoil receipe.
I'll do the garlic receipe separately this night, preparation in process.
Leaves are shining due to the olive oil.
It will make the thrips to suffocate.

I removed the coco on the top (which contains eggs) and replaced it with a new one.
Tried to clean all around.

How are they looking now? Any improvement on the thrips?

Well i treated for 2 days with the blacksoap-lime-oliveoil receipe and today i used only blacksoap and lime without the olive oil, to clean it.
Between this i used a garlic decoction, which by itsel could already destroy the thrips. I'll continue to use everyday the garlic decoction.
I didn't see anything suspicious on the leaves so.. i think i reacted quick enough.

Apart of this, the plants are looking fine and are growing. But now after one complete month, why the fuck are they so small !?!
It's like they are not drinking that much and when i open where the aquavalve is, the water seems always at the same level.
On another hand they don't look as if they are missing water.

I don't know really what's going to happen but as the life of an autoflower is determined in advance, there is only 6 weeks that are remaining.
Don't think i'll get so much at the end. Maybe it was not a good idea to start with an autoflo.. if i had a feminised one i could have let her grow enough time to become really big before flowering.. Anyway they look beautiful and i'm happy to see them growing !

The pics of tonight..

Your nodes look quite compact , you could try raising your light a few inches.

Shantam, if it makes you feel better, I now know first hand that autoflower donhave their own clock, but it isn't the same for each plant. Environment plays a big role. My plants were stunted due to heat and low humidity issues, but they responded by extending the veg state and delaying flower.

The first pic is of my plants at about 4 weeks. The last two pictures are where they are now at day 55! One, the Purple, has just started preflowering, and the larger one, the Gorilla Glue, isn't even there yet.

There is still a lot of hope that they will make up for lost time by prolonging the veg.

Hang in there man! Don't panic, it's going to be just fine. They are a little small, but not too bad at all. Autos are so much easier than photos to run. Be patient, and you will see. They will shoot up a bit in the next two to three weeks during the stretch and then you will see what you have. I have gotten 100 grams from plants only 24" tall.

hey thanks for your replies !

@Rollin_along thanks i have raised the cobs to 30 '' so 90 cm.. hope they'll grow up now ^^

@Pigskinfantasy thanks i did not know that autos could extend their veg state..it gives me hope.. your plant looked very healthy and bushy at 4 weeks and now they look amazing, nice job really !

@MedCzech okay will try not to panic and stay confident for the future !

thanks to all of your for your encouragement !

here are some pics of some lower leaves which kept the marks of the thrips attack; i did not notice anything similar on the upper leaves but i know thrips attack the lower leaves.. will still check this very carefully every day.

Thnaks Shantam. I had no idea about extended veg phase either, but started reading once I had it happen to me, and found it to be quite common. In fact, I believe Medczech had an auto that was over 100 days from seed and still had some flowering left. Want to talk about that one, Med?

Yep, that was just this last grow man. 121 day auto, supposed to be 75. Crazy thing is I had seven plants total, first harvest in the second week of June, last one just harvested on July 25. Six of them were the same strain. Marijuana genetics are still unpredicatable sometimes.
Just stay cool and,...as I always say, " grow the plant in front of you, not the one you think should be there!"

Staying cool, rolling with this the punches, and not getting too worked up about shit, staying disciplined on keeping your environment good, grow room clean, get the basics good, and usually everything works out fine in the end. Very rarely do grows get scrapped and need to be re-booted.
For me one time in almost 30 years of doing this! The rest I muscled through it somehow and always got some yield. It's always better than you think in the end.
It won't be long man!
