Fast Buds 1st Grow, FastBuds - Blackberry & Girl Scout Cookies, 250w HPS - Wish me luck...

Yep. Bit heavy on the feed. Spanglish is on it.
Personally, I would feed next at .5ml. , then 1ml. And so on. Less is more.

One other thing that I see is, every pic has water on the plants. I know you are trying to keep humidity up but, I think over misting can do more harm than good. I've stopped misting and have noticed a positive difference. I really think it has something to do with, letting the plant transpire on it's own. Idk...could be wrong, just my 2 cents.

Your RH seems okay. If you want it higher you can hang a towel over a pan of water, to act as a wick. Direct your fan at the towel, like so

RH will come up considerably.

Overall, great first go at it. Fine buds to come.

Thanks for the advice Yeatster, I like the wet towel idea, will try as and when needed but seems to be right on now using the frozen bottles and the slight increase in temp where I am. The misting I do twice daily about 7h and 14h in the their 20h light cycle and only planning on doing this until flowering begins. Will try without misting on the next grow.

This would possibly have a two fold effect; raising RH and lowering temperatures through evaporation (thermodynamics was a LONG time ago, though). Both of which I gather you are trying to accomplish.
May be worth a shot!
Looking forward to the rest of the grow!

Day 21

Progress progress... Girls just had their 4th feed back at 50% dosing to prevent further nute burn though seems to be under control as in the pics.

Dont know why but I decided to start training the BB to try and keep the canopy level the same height as the GSC. I also came up with what I think?!?!?! is a neat trick to get more light to the lower part of the plants in this early stage. Woke up at 3am with the idea and thought I would give it a shot... Thoughts peops??

Temps here have increased a little and now hitting highs in tent of 32% but the girls dont seem to have an issue with it. With the increased temp also came increased humidity averaging 55% with 45 lows and 79 highs. Hoping to control the highs during flowering as I know rotttt can be an issue.

Also anyone else had this image rotation issue? Its really starting to piss me off now!! Doesn't matter how I rotate it from my pc. All taken from iphone 7 plus and dragged to pc desktop for upload.... Ideas, any one please!!!???>>>

Take your photo if you're using an iPhone:

Rotate it in the editor once, then tap "DONE"

Rotate it three more times in the editor, tap "DONE," and it should come out. At least, that's how I have to do it.

Or... download the forum browser of your choice (Tapatalk, etc.) and post from there. I highly suggest downloading a metadata scrubber before posting pictures, too.

Sending good grow juju your way!

Day 23

Quick update...

Decided to start training the GSC also, maybe I am getting a little carried away for my first grow, but it's all part of the learning process I suppose :baked: Saying that, they dont seem to be minding it so much and I am getting some nice sprouting. NOTE TO SELF AND OTHERS PLANNING ON TRAINING: Plant seed towards the outer side of pot, especially if you have limited space as this will the canopy to stay more centered.

And before anyone says something about the nute burn on new tips, this is from my 3rd feed still I think and I expect the plant to grow through and overcome it quickly, I reduced back to a 50% dose for my 4th feed and will keep a close eye on things...

Pics below only of those that rotated without issues :yellowcard:

Looking good Jam.
I wouldn't recommend planting seed on the side of the pot. It may seem logical for easier training but we want happy roots.
