Fast Buds 1st Grow, FastBuds - Blackberry & Girl Scout Cookies, 250w HPS - Wish me luck...

And why does AFN keep landscaping my portrait pics!!??!!??

Spain eh.. Lucky duck lol

My humble opinion is that it's not toooo bad.. Not ideal by any means but not impossible by any means either..

No way around getting cool fresh air in there that I can think of with Spain ambient temps ☺☺ as u say get some circulation going and just see how the little ladies go..

Hi pal best of luck on your first grow, you have got past Day 2 already so is already better than mine was ;)

The clip on fans are going to be a good way to get temps down a bit, the only drawback is going to be it is most likely going to pull the RH down more, you can try putting a bowl or two of water in the tent as a cheap method to get the RH up a bit, or if you feel like splashing out a bit 20€-40€ a ultrasound/mist humidifier will get the RH in range while the fans keep the temps down.

As plants get bigger and they seem to create their own atmosphere and RH starts to rise on its own so less work is needed to keep it high, and if anything with a tent full of flowering girls the battle is going to be keeping RH down by replacing the old humid air.

A few bottles of frozen water can also be a temp method to knock temps down a couple of degrees, but is really more hassle than its worth as you can imagine it down take long till they thaw and need replacing, so gonna need time and freezer space.

Just about anywhere in Spain summer and in the south Spring is going to be hot under HPS, could always try to cool the room the tent is in using a portable AC unit or other method you can think of, so air being pulled into the tent is fresh enough to cool things down inside.

Also be careful over watering at this stage especially with those higher temps, as they top soil will dry and look like they need a drink but will still be pretty wet a couple of cm down, just give the soil a little poke with you finger to check and they just want to be moist around the stem at this stage and the soil not overly wet and to tightly packed.

As for the pics they need to be rotated 180° twice and then saved again, then should display fine after uploading. Knocked up a quick video that shows how to do it in windows.

Hey bro hope you don't mind me drip the pic of my girl at day 39

Hey Spanglish,

Thanks for the tips...

Went and bought a clip-on fan yesterday (15 euros for a decent one) and it seems to be helping a little with temps at canopy level of 23-28.5 (23 obv when lights are off). Will be adding a bottle of frozen water today and will see how that helps.

About the feeding, you are right and I luckily used your method when soil looked dry and it was indeed still quite moist 1-2cm down. I reckon next water to be on Sat/Sun which will be 5-6 days from 1st feed, not sure if thats a good or bad thing??!!

Next pics to come later today or tomorrow depending on how lazy/stoned I am

Not at all bro, she looks quite stretchy and no doubt will produce some nice bud. I assume from her colour thats shes a GSC? Are you growing outdoors? Whats your setup? You have a thread I can follow?

Thought it might be a bit moist, is the exact reason my first grow did not make it past Day 2 as i was keeping the soil soaked, then the seedling just yellowed and died, luckily found AFN just after that and started lurking and reading and picked up a few tips.

Best of luck with the temps and am sure you will smoking your own grown nugs before you know it ;)

Day 12 from germination, day 7 from popping out of soil

We have some progress with the ladies stretching to about 6/7cm (havent physically measured) though still get the feeling they are progressing slowly.

As mentioned above, I have now added a clip-on fan and a frozen bottle of water which appears to have eased the temps a little. I will give them their 2nd feed tomorrow or sat of biobizz root juice and activera now with the addition of grow. Again all at half the suggested dose as I have read a lot about over-nuting with autos so rather ease in slow and see how the girls cope.

Can anyone however advise me how best to adjust a 12 week regular feeding schedule to a 9-10 week schedule for the autos. I have included a pic of what biobizz suggest using light-mix (though this doesnt include activera for some reason), remember all at half doses.

Will update again either after feed or after the weekend.

Have used Light Mix with BioBizz nutes for the past 3 years and logged the schedules from some of the grows, have got to go out for a bit with the kid but will dig up the info later, did not use all the products but should give you a rough idea.

Started the base of my Bio Bizz feeds round Duck Commanders old schedule that i have linked to below to give you something to look at in the time being.
