New Grower 1st grow ever... Dinafem White Widow XXL

Could someone help me please? (pictures are not the best tho, but I think you can see the yellowness on the leaf.)

Okay I'm a little bit more optimistic about the smaller one as she has increased in size and looking greener, healthier.

Hey man the bigger one is looking good. Looks like the tips are burned a little. Maybe from over nutes or the heat. The progression of plants are different for each seed. Might have been stunned from the bugs and just starting to get its feet again. Glad she started to perk up!

Any time you see yellow dots or freckles turn your leafs over and check for spider mites. If they are causing the spots you usually see there eggs hanging out on the bottom of the leaf too. I cant see well from your pictures but calcium will show up as more rust color, the same dead color as if you had nutrient burn but spots, like freckles. Spider mite damage is smaller spots than calcium and more of a yellow or white color due to the mites sucking the chlorophyll out of the leaf from the bottom. Check close there hard to see.

Thank you guys!

Today I saw some more bites(I guess) and found a small bug on the bigger plant, have no idea what was that probably was too small to make a photo of it and was hiding as I moved. For some reason theres a mental picture in my head that this bug actually eats the 'bad bugs', so felt kinda guilty for killing him but had no way to identify him and then just thought for a second how many bugs I kill in a mile with my car and it made me feel better lol.

Thought it was no longer a problem as I killed most bugs in the room and patched the leaks, dishsoap wasnt enough to deal with those punk motherfuckers! Today I bought Neem oil as Derek here recommended.
I read articles and some said that just spray it directly on the plants (no idea how concentrated it is since the label doesnt disclose it), others says make a solution with warm water and dishsoap.
250ml water
7ml neem oil
2ml organic dishsoap
What do you guys think about this solution ?
Applied it to the plants with a spray bottle, will do it every 3days for 3 weeks and then see how it goes, maybe reducing the frequency.

Mistakes I made so far(maybe someone can learn from it):
-not making the room 'bugproof ' for first 10 days(?), which means plugging the holes around the door and cover the windows too so bugs dont see the lights from miles. More bugs in the area more that finds the holes.
-not buying neem soon enough(for a while I thought we dont have it), because thought what I've done will be enough
-probably overwatering my plants a bit and did it too frequent

Cheers!

That soulition should work great

Hello guys,

Again had to leave my flowers for a while (9 days...) and asked someone to take care of them. When I got back they got worse I feel like. Yesterday before I came home I went to a store and bought PH meter and CaO. So today is ph testing.

They dont look good at all unfortunately. I germinated them almost a month ago so its quite while in.

First thing I see is I need to turn them frequently, because the undersized part of the plan is further from the lights.

Second is I need to give them less water and ph test my water and solutions. My watering schedule was 1.5l every 3rd day. Its possibly too much, will try less.

Furthermore I have to give them Calcium and should buy Magnesium. I'm not sure tho how much Calcium I should give them tho. My calcium solution is 21% CaO and 10% N. Can you guys recommend something? And what about the Mg?

And I am not sure if they will make it at all they just look bad and I am better off just starting new seeds and maybe put both of the old ones outside and let nature make judgment. I only have space for 2 plants under the lights.

What do you guys think? I appreciate any help.

Okay so I did the ph testing and I think the ph of my water is a bit high.

The plain tapwater is 8.3-8.4, after the nutes its 7.1 . I guess its very high, right? Water ph should be 6.0-6.5?

So its still my dilemma. My plants are about 4 weeks old so vegetative growth is almost done, in maximum 2 weeks they will get into preflowering stage, and if I expect 9-10 weeks total time half of the time is almost gone and they dont look good and healthy, definetly I made couple mistakes right of the bat. Should I still keep them under the lights? Or should I just start new seeds, I have 3 extra seeds sitting?

Potential disadvantages of keeping my damaged plants:
- I have to put resources (electricity, nutes) and work in it
- If it doesnt have any or just small yields I can only start my next plants after the end of my first grow, which is probably 5-6 weeks total, so I have to smoke shitty weed +5-6 more weeks.
