What I was thinking is the first couple of weeks I will do 18/6 with the artifical lights and in the hottest hours will not use the light system but put my plants outside, so its basically 24/0. I'm gonna put the pots a bit higher than the ground so hopefully not as much bugs can get into my soil. I feel like majority of the bugs that would go into the soil cant fly. Do you guys think theres problem with this?

I wouldn't imagine there would be a problem with the light. I personally run 18/6 inside a tent. My biggest problem is heat and humidity in the tent. Maybe you could take some preventative measures against bugs if you are putting em outside?

Hey Keszonos! I started my first grow in a tent and by week 10 I had to switch to a room I had built due to high temps and lack of room. Havent grown in the tent since and been doing great! I only use my tent now to dry after harvest. As far as light goes I run 18/6 . I feel the plants need a little darkness (as in nature) and also it helps with power bills and temps during the day as I time them to sut off at noon and start back at six pm. I personally would not move the plants outside during the down time, but thats just my opinion..... Hope this helps and good luck!

Here are the pictures. Day 6 in the soil.
Today I started to feed them very light. I just took the pictures while they were spending their artifical lights off time outside. They cant do this so long anyways because I could only put them outdoors while they are this small.
I put the lights closer too, they are about 50cm away from my plants.
