thanks for the info @member420 ! my new ph60 pen showed up yesterday so i will definitely have a better ph reading to compare with the yellow ph pen / drop kit test. im still not sure about pk 13/14 feeding. ive read a lot of journals and everyone is feeding different or none at all.. maybe ill try the 1 feed @ 2-3 weeks before harvest.

Ya I had some water issues that led to a salt build up which caused a nute lockout on one of my plants. I used the Lucas formula. You can google it and find valuable info on AFN.

update:

tent got to 93f yesterday!! summer heat is coming..

DAY 17: WATER DAY / 6th FEEDING

got to play with the new ph60 meter. should make ph testing faster and efficient now.

top of the soil got dry today! - 93f (yesterday) heat definitely didnt help.

- 6th feed GH TRIO
- 2ml cal mag
- 2.5ml micro
- 2.5ml gro
- 1ml bloom
- 1/4 tsp ph down

- ph @6.55 (yellow pen)
- ph @6.45 (apera ph60 - new pen)
- ph around 6.0-6.5 (vial test)

ive dropped the paper strip kit test!

- each plant got about 250ml each
- watered after 24 hrs of last feeding from day16-day17 (back to back feed)

also cleaned up the tent! plugs/outlets are outside the tent. maybe ill move the fan&filter outside for the next grow to get more room..

DAY 18: WATER DAY / 7th FEEDING

hit 95f yesterday. i dont know if my girls are growing but they were thirsty and top of soil dry.

7th feed GH TRIO

- 2ml cal mag
- 2.5ml micro
- 2.5ml gro
- 1ml bloom
- 2ml ph down
*ph was @6.11 (wanted to stay in 6.2-6.5 range so i added ph up)

- 1ml ph up
- ph @6.40 (yellow pen)
- ph @6.35 (apera ph60 - new pen)
- ph around 6.0-6.5 (vial test)

- each plant got about 250ml each

its been back to back to back feeding daily

DAY 19

heat back to below 90f!

top of soil was still moist! no water today but the plants are growing.

- SC is about 3 3/4 inch tall
- GSC about 3 1/2 inch tall

- both plants are starting to grow 7 finger leaves
- still no definite sign of pistils

havent done any training.. but will most likely do some light LST when they get a little taller/bigger.

im just trying to post as much info as possible so i have some notes i can look back on.

yellow pen is brand new and was calibrated on day 7.
new ph pen was calibrated on day 17.
vial test is just to make sure that the water is around 6.0-6.5.

im planning on recalibrating the yellow pen on around day 21 to double check the difference.

oh definitely!! i have everything written down as im still learning the pot weighr method and when to water. still struggling.. kinf of hard when its dry/wet since im only giving 250ml each.

only thing i wish i did keep track on was rh & temp. RH has been around 30-50 on average. the only time i write down temp is when it hits 90f+ (i think 3x so far this grow) or lower than 60f (hasnt happened yet)
