hey KLOAKER welcome to AFN!you are in good hands here.i do have one ? for ya.what is your ventilation and air flow like in your grow area?

Mrnicesmoke.

My grow room is located in my bedroom. I installed 1 fan in top part of grow room, but it didn't cut it. Since then I leave the door to my room open to let some fresh air in. Inside the room I am rinning a tower fan that has two small fans inside the unit. Circulation of the air in the room seems good, although I have had days where it seems a little stuffy in the bedroom. I try to leave my bedroom door open to get air from the rest of the house or I'll crack the window a bit to get outside air. Now that winter is here its hard to crack the window. -20c outside. If i crack the window at this temp the air coming in is way too cold. I know I could heat the outside air, but was trying to keep things to a minimum.
Just had one plant grow another inch overnight. Without any light.
Oh, by the way I turn my fan off at night.
Another tidbit. Some of the plants are now showing sex, (I hope). Since I have never grown this type of plant before am still a little unsure.
Seeing some white hairs. I'm sure I'll know more soon.

Cheers.

DAY 55 Red/White dwarfs

This is an update at day 55. All plants seem healthy but after the feeding of water two days ago the leaves have a little curling on the edges.
I have 5 Red dwarfs and they are turning out very different. 2 of them have grown to 33 inches and look exactly the same (really stretchy and skinny).Sorry no pic. 2 others look exactly the same and are 26 and 24 inches.

The fifth one is 20 inches tall.
I have 4 White dwafs. 2 are 21 inches tall.(pic)

1 is 27 inches tall (kinda stretchy) and 1 is 12 inches tall (the branches started to get higher than the main stem and it is just starting to flower) no pic.

Sorry for the limited pics but the plants are getting too big to move for a good pic and the lighting sucks.

Any advice on the curling leaves would be great.

Cheers.

Sounds like you've over fed them a bit. From the pictures it doesn't look too bad. I would just give them plain pHed water their next feeding and if they are not worse after that, then go back to a lower strength feeding of nutes. If the curling gets worse or the tips of the leaves start to turn brown, then you need to give them a flush.

Otherwise, they look great.

Thanx for the info Muddy.
Sorry it took so long to respond. work just keeps getting in the way.
Anyway I fed them water ph'd @ 5.9 since the last post and the look better.
No brown tips. They are now about 1 week into flower two that are just starting.
I'm planning 1 more feeding of plain water then back to the nutes next time.

Cheers.

Thanx for the positive vibes UholyFire and BailerBud. That sure helps in times of doubt.

Cheers

KLOAKER-
I'm excited for your grow!! Pics look great, mild stretching...not bad at all!! Others you say a little less.....you'll be amazed at the coming transformation!!! Yes, the white hairs indicate female. The guys will have little sacs that grow into banana shape. Great journal or note taking. Will tune in to see how it continues.
