I dropped my bean straight into a 16oz red dixie cup. Black and gold organic soil with some added perlite, and a pinch of dr earths 4-4-4. Watered with aerated tap. Mixed in a dash of liquid kelp in the watering. The bean was in the moist paper towel 12 hours prior. There was no indication of the tap root popping. I just wanted to do more direct to soil instead.
