Didnt get any pics of the Jack Herer, but I'll upload some pics later today showing how thy have responded to the topping, LST and the odd leaf defoliated.
The growth definitely slowed for a couple of days but all the laterals seem to be taking off now.

Jack is much more compact, and the new growth leaves are starting to show frost. Should probably switch to bloom nutes soon but Im going to wait another week as the SD is growing fast now!

Oh yeah, the lil girl in the back is a Fastbuds GSC, she's on Day 3.

Decided on upgrading this tent, hopefully getting a Homebox AQ120 next week. ....well technically its not an upgrade so much as an add-on! Haha, yes im going to try run 2 tents, this current one for the babies, and the 4x4 for flowering.
Anyone got any good light recommendations for a 4x4?

Also yesterday, decided to remove bottom nodes off the JH, they seem small and weak and I didnt think they would end up being any good. That still leaves 4 nodes (8 laterals).
Meanwhile on the SD, all 10 laterals are stretching hard.

@BigSm0 How many Autocobs would you recomend for a 4x4? I know you've probably answered this many times but I couldnt find it using the search function.

Wow, so the girls are really growing now! I've been defoliating as required and also LST. I really love my LST method. I simply drilled holes into the outside rim of the Autopots and using the pipecleaner wires from the garden shop I just thread it through the hole. Wasnt planning on it, but the hole is big enough to fit the wire, yet small enough to grab it, so to increase the pull, I simply pull the end through the hole a bit further.

Although Im starting to think that the Sour Diesel is a photo. It showed sex a while back but its just vegging hard! Compared to the Jack Herer which is definitely budding now.
This kinda messes with my plans a bit, kinda pissed at SupremeSeeds, they labeled it an Auto and they have repeatly ignored my request for the breeder info. Dont think I'll use those guys again!
So I gotta take the Jack Herer off the Autopot res line and manually water her. She needs boost while the Sour Diesel can finish whats left in the res.

But on a brighter note (literally), my new 4x4 tent arrived yesterday. Spent today setting it up and moving the girls to their new home. It was getting crowded in the 3x3, now it seems like they have plenty of room!
This tent also oozes quality, and the manufacturer claims increased par due to better reflective surface. A bit pricier than your avg tent, but I can see why and totally recommend these tents. I got the Homebox Ambient AQ120 (4x4x7)

Also, ordered a HLG100 V2 4000K. Bigsmo never responded so HLG is on the way.

Think I need to get a 400W HPS now just so I can flip the Sour Diesel.

Also, GSC is at Day 10 and growing as expected.

I think the usual recommendations for auto cobs had been 1 per plant. I think many people run 5 in s setup like your with the extra one dead center. But 4 would produce very good flowers with med sized good genetics.

Firstly, Congrats to @High 'n' Dry for winning the Mars Hydro competition! Well done.

Now on to business.

The Advanced Seeds Jack Herer - Day 57
Man this thing is stacking and fattening beautifully. Her terps are simply outstanding although I lack the experience to adequately classify these wondrous smells. I know I shouldnt, but I often give her buds a feel up just so I can sniff my finger for a few hours....
She does have a slight thrip infestation but I have been pruning back affected leaves and it doesnt seem to be on the other plants...yet... Something I need to keep a further eye on though.

The Fastbuds Girl Scout Cookies - Day 28

She's going along nicely. She's hooked up to the res now and seems to be more advanced in growth than what the 2 others were at a similar stage. Topped at Day 20 and handled it nicely.

The Sour Diesel (breeder unknown) - Day 57
Wow! So I thought this girl was a photoperiod that had been wrongly labeled as an Auto. I was kinda pissed about the whole thing as running 2 different light schedules was going to be challenging (although not impossible).
Anyhoo, I went away for the week and when I got back guess what I found! Do you see what I see!? Shes flowering! Im guessing it probably started day 55, not unheard of but not many wait that long before flowering. I cant wait to see what this girl does next!

Thrips ey? Hmmmm, given how amazing that sour diesel looks I'd be tempted to pull the JH from the tent. Anywhere else she could go to finish up? The SD is gonna be a bud monster!
