Autopots two 3.9 gallon system
G Breath tester seeds from GOOD GENETIX
Canna A&B : nutrients
Canna Rhizotonic : soaked the seeds for three days, and both have a tap root showing
Coco coir : medium. I buffered it in Cal-Mag solution for three days.

I will be using CO2 with this grow

I can’t say for sure, but I think the G stands for Guava.

The three-day cal-mag buffer on the coco before dropping the sprouts in should save some trouble once they hit the autopots. Unbuffered coco in a wick system tends to pull calcium early and the deficiency shows up right when stretch kicks off. Curious if the G in G Breath turns out to be Guava based on how GOOD GENETIX has been naming their recent crosses.

@Strainly.io so are you saying I need to add calcium after turning on the autopots?

Just stick to what you’re doing. You buffered your coco or bought buffered coco right?

I would only add something in if the plants showed they were lacking it

@KingRatt so entombed taught me to not trust the buffered labels and to buffer the coco on my own regardless. So I bought buffered and then buffered it

Then you are perfect, continue as you are. He was saying Unbuffered coco will draw calcium. You don’t have that, yours is double buffered lol. You’re all good homie, don’t add any extra cal mag unless you see deficiencies.

It real easy to go too strong with the cal mag and can cause lockouts of other things causing a huge headache. You are all good homie, no need to worry

WEEK2:
Nothing much has changed other than feeding them daily. G Breathe is doing what it should be doing.
The Athena grow & bloom are both very difficult to get to break down in the water. I’ve been shaking the mix for two days about 7 times a day and still have not gotten it to fully break down. The water is R/O and the temperature is 78*. I don’t want to start using it till it’s all in liquid form.

I used tap water at room temp and it broke down in like 15 mins of shaking!
