Maybe chlorine breaks it down faster
eventually I will get all dissolved shortly
I remember the first time I read “shake for 45 minutes” my jaw hit the floor.
Definitely takes some time, but can be done at room temperature.
A couple other tricks you can use are pouring it into a larger container, like a 5 gallon bucket, and using some kind of agitator like a paint stirrer to blend the batch, or using warm water when you initially mix!
Yeah I was thinking about making a mixer for the drill out of some zip ties. I have set the containers on top of my heater to keep the water warm.
I have time before the roots get to the bottom to turn on the autopots so I’m sure it will dissolve by then either way.
The core mixed right away with little shaking.
Just stating my experience with said product

Figure I could help someone else potentially ![]()
I mixed mine up the other day, I really recommend mixing it all up and testing out of batch or two before you actually need to use it.
Definitely a good
idea to get them mixed days before use.
With mine I now only have a thin layer of salt still not dissolved
You can throw in a couple marbles in the jug to help mix when you shake
That’s a great idea. I started use my stair stick and immersion blender, and still shaking.. it almost dissolved now. It will be ready by the time I turn the autopots on and that’s what matters
Ok things are looking good. The stem started out with a curly Q shape, but it’s straightening out nicely now. Started feeding it with 300 ml of bloom, grow, & core at a EC of 2.0. The G breath is responding very well to its feeding . The Little Rock was there to support the curled stem and will be removed soon
When I see seeds uprooting themselves, and shooting out long curled or wiggly taproots, I just see it as being vigorous. I’ve had seeds worm their way out of the dirt, go down in the wrong direction etc. yours is looking great bud!
