After some time off, I’m finally back to growing again. I was digging through the old stash when I found my Sawney Beans from a couplefew years ago. I gave them a 24 hour soak in water/h2o2 and planted directly into soil today.

I wish I would’ve gotten 3 more bags of soil for this bed. I only got 7 cu ft total. I didn’t expect the “60 gallon” bed to hold 75 gallons of soil but it looks like it clearly would have no problems holding a few more. Amazon lied to me.
I should’ve thought about it though, if it’s a 18" high that’s technically up to 12 cubic feet, 90 gallons. After this grow I’m gonna fill it with a few more bags at least.
I’ve been playing with the lights and the photon app trying to get the spread right, I get about 450 PPFD at the corners of the 2x4 with 18" hang height, and right at 700 in the center. Not a bad spread, at 14" it blasts 900+ in the center and reduces the corners sharply. Have it 24" above the soil now on full blast(mainly for the heat). It’s lookin’ to be around 350-400 ppfd over each seed spot.
In 2-7 days, you’re gonna have some babies! You got domes over the seeds?

Nah, I just threw down the straw a bit to keep it moist
I couldn’t tell you the exact spots of the seedlings now anyway. I watered them in pretty good lol. Probably will be a few more days before they sprout.
Can’t wait! Blue Moon is freaking beautiful! About as tasty as it gets with a perfect hybrid stone! The Blueberry really shines thru in a good way and the fade is like a sunset! All the colors from blue to gold to pink to purple!
Absolutely beautiful. I’m excited. I been puffin on bulk grown mechanical trimmed mids for nearly 2 years now. Nothin’ beats your own smoke.
You will def be in for a treat! Hopefully it will be so good you won’t ever go back

I remember she had some really fat leaves in the beginning and thru veg and when she started flowering her leaves thinned out a bunch with that more Sativa looking shape. I notice it in most strains, but this one the change was really extreme.
No action yet, but worms came.
I also got a couple cheap moisture meters to get an idea of how high to hang the reservoir.

What’s funny is I soaked 2 more SOS seeds to put in peat pucks because I was worried nothing would sprout…
Now I’ma have 15 plants in here.
Don’t you just love that! I also hate culling plants for no reason, so if I can find room they will grow somewhere, sometimes in a solo cup, because why not lol
I’ll find a spot for everything if it all sprouts. Luckily it’s just 2 out of 14 total so far.
Tomorrow and the day after should be showing a lot more 
, it’s still on the early side for direct seed to soil to sprout. I’m rooting for you!
