Running the XS1500 Pros at full blast with a 24 inch hang is a solid call for early veg. Those panels spread decently at that height without blasting the seedlings, and the warmth helps keep soil temps up if the tent is in a cooler spot. Should be a gentle start with that 350-400 PPFD at soil level.

Seedlings needing low light levels is a myth. consider this: You have a veggie garden and you plant direct to soil in May. When they sprout, HOW much light are they getting? 1800 PPFD? More? A better way to start seedlings indoors is dim your light to save energy, and lower it until you get 800-900 PPFD at the soil and raise the light as they grow and turn up the power gradually as the light height increases, to maintain that range. Yes, it’s more work but it pays of in the end!

Brought it to 18" above soil, getting 700-750 over each now. I mainly just want a good even spread.

Both look a little… special… but I’ll love them all the same.

Think I’ll call it for Blue moon, don’t think they’ll pop up, been over 10 days now. We’ve got 2 x SOS.

SOS Day 7 still a little dorky. Soil dried a bit, gave it a light watering and raised the reservoir a little.

A third SOS appears 10 days after the others 2.

We’re on day 14 now. Temps been a little high, humidity a little low, I’ve had the AC off.

I think I burried the third in straw, She’s on day 4 but hasn’t grown any.

I’ll be honest with you…. I’m finding the living soil (I’m in 3.0) likes the temps a little higher. I’m running in the upper 80’s most of the time, and even 90 occasionally….with zero signs of stress. I’ve also seen that dude from BAS say similar in his videos….so, I don’t really think your temps are bad….

Good to see you back at it my friend :smokeout:

The 2x4 bed with BAS 3.0 and three ollas is a straightforward setup for a return grow. The SOS and Blue Moon from Sawney Beans should do well in that blend, and the ollas keep moisture even without much daily attention. 15 plants in that footprint will need some thinning once they show sex, that space fills up fast after the stretch.

Day 28 above soil.

2 SOS on the left, one stretched huge, I had to supercrop the shit outta her to keep her out the light.

Smaller SOS

The SOS that got the supercrop treatment.
