Tried to create an auto bastard bc I couldn't find any. First attempt was a bust, pollen from a reversed plant was sterile. The same STS mix reversed a sour crack and that pollen gave me nice big seeds. This is my 2nd attempt.
Transplanted to 1 gallon fabric pots with fox farm happy frog. Here's the three I'm hopeful about, don't mind the burn spots on the middle one. There seems to be a little of the duckfoot showing.
Plants are a bit bigger, and there's a nice variety. I really hope the one in the middle isn't an auto as it's the largest bastard-ish leaves I've had so far. Probably should have noted earlier the seeds are fem from a fast photoperiod cross (if that's the correct term?).
Plants are bigger, 3/5 were topped, the short least vigorous on the end is going to be culled I think. I'll be mixing fresh STS for this. Scissors were thrown away after pic, I treated them well for 2 years (clean before and after each use) but it's time for new sharper ones.
That is wild looking! Nice work, they wouldn't be recognizeable as cannabis at all. Flowering should be interesting scent wise. Do the plants have any aroma currently or if you rub the stem a bit?
Apologies for the not so great picture, the shortest non-topped abc is the only one showing hairs now. It's starting to have an interesting walk into a tire store smell but not enough to keep.
The smell was ok, the vigor was poor
this one got chopped and now there are four.
In the tent for flowering, reversing the three smaller plants and may use pollen from each. The terracotta middle plant will be the seed bearer. The clone from the middle plant is doing well.
