I use bits just sprinkle on top and simply water them in.
It's just a bacteria that eats the little bastards don't think it would effect your pot at and stage

But that's only my opinion about effecting your pot ....
Actually you don’t want to leave the bits in the pot, they will rot and cause problems. You need to soak the bits in the water for 6-8 hours, strain out the bits, then just water the plants. Ph the water is possible too. 6.0 for coco and 6.4-6.5 for soil :greencheck:

Morning y’all :coffee2:

Headed off to work. Got what needed to be done in the room this morning. They are all looking happy in the ManCave :toke:

Its just bits of corn cob, its not going to hurt anything. If that rotting causes issues, than any compost would cause issues.

This is dry but interesting (starts 1:25) and covers differences in terpene profiles and the effects of drying and long term storage including under different gasses as well as vacuum sealed.
Later he gets into milling and extraction with super critical fluids which I doubt we could ever afford to truly do. I'm not talking about dumping dry ice into a drum when I say SFC lol..

I've seen what you say but I just put some fresh soil over it and never gave it a second thought. I don't think I've ever had a problem after years of doing this but in truth I couldn't say for sure .....

Here's a thought. Could you say just get your bags of soil in advance , open them up and toss in a pot popper and let it do it's thing. Would they just multiply and continue to eat/infect them till the souls clean. THEN put the soil in your pots already with a serious healthy population of nematodes
That is actually how I deal with new soil. I treat it with Nematodes, and Mosquito Bits before it ever goes into a pot.

Good morning @Shugrows
