Day 64:

Today is bad picture day. Don't know why so many pictures are unfocused, but it is what it is. :shrug:

This Dragon is far from ready yet, but is bulking up nicely.

The terpene profile is full on lemon, which as some of you know is one of my favorites. The Bruce Banner from previous grow also had that lemony smell, but doesn't have it anymore while curing. I do hope this Sweet Fang LEMON Auto does smell like lemons after curing :goodluck:

The top cola bulking up nicely. Had to use the flash as there's to much shadow overcast by the leaves...

Discovered that this topview is kinda neat. :cooldance:

Day 68:

Measured the EC today and it sits at 740ppm. Didn't need to adjust the pH as it was 6.12. Next solution I mix I'll raise the pH with another 0.05 - 0.07

Day 72:

Good day to you all :toke:

Found some mold in three buds on my Dragon. So I had to cut her... :cuss:

It was all my fault :crying:

I had turned off the fan and forgot to turn it back on again when I left the greenhouse Friday... So with high humidity I'm glad there's only three buds that had to be cut down. I'll check her daily in the morning and evening and harvest if necessary. But for now The damage is this.

I was able to cut some not infected pieces from those buds and hung them to dry. This gave me the opportunity to put a piece under the microscope.
She's almost ready. The first amber trichomes are starting to appear. So I'll be checking those on a daily basis. :thumbsup:

She still receives 5L nutrients a day pH 6.20 EC 720 ppm. And loving it. Look at the leaves. Full with stored energy, ready to fluff up those flowers

Here are a couple of more shots from Friday. For one reason or another these didn't made this thread :shrug:

Bugger about the mold Bob, been there, and it is always a disappointment. One of my "events" was, like yours, likely related to fan being left off by accident - my extension cord to the grow shelter has to be moved out of the way for mowing, you can guess the rest.

Anyway, good luck with the rest of the grow, I hope you don't find too much more of the nasty stuff. :goodluck:

Day 74 † :

Hello fellow growers,

Today I found more mold :cuss:

and decided to harvest what was left. And although being my fault with forgetting to turn the fan back on, I'd say this Dragon isn't mold resistant. So for those of you who are about to go into flower. Take care of the humidity as this one has big dense nugs of flower. Sadly to say all the pertiest ones got infected and went to disposal (a.k.a. the chickens

)

What was left after cutting the infected buds out...

While trimming the 'good nugs' I still had to cut more then half to trash... :crying:

The infected pieces and cut leaves... Really a shame, but won't take any risk with mold. Don't even use it for extraction anymore.

Oh well, I got to save at least 1/3 and they are drying as we speak. So I can at least finish this grow and give y'all a smoke report :toke:

Hey guys,

Today I took the buds that where drying off of the wire and trimmed everything up real nice. Look for yourself :d5:

These went into the humidity controlled jar.

This went into a bag and into the freezer for processing on a later date :hookah:

I can tell you that the search for this years lemon is over. This Dragon sure does smell like a lemon. I've smoked the bud I dried a couple of days ago and it's guuuuud. This one will be one for the vape rather then smoked in joints, I'm sure of it :thumbsup:

A smoke report will follow after a couple of weeks of curing.

I'm all home alone and It's a rainy day today so what better to do then make/smoke some rosin :hookah:

Temperature set to 87°C / 189°F. Heatup 3min. Press 3min.

Pressed this bag a bit hard. The next two didn't breach.

In all I pressed 18gr trim from Sweet Fang Lemon Auto. Later on when everything gets collected I'll share the final weight I recovered, minus what I smoked of course :smoking:

Ah, let's not linger in the past. I grow in a greenhouse so I know I have to face mold at some point. :toke:

Yeah, you showed it off last year. Quite amazing stuff!! I also wanted one so went online looking for a design I could borrow and build my own.
Pressed quite some rosin last year with my DIY :thumbsup:

Btw, the result is in... I weighed the rosin after I smoked some... :hookah:

Starting material was 18gr trimmings and small buds divided over three 90µ bags.
The result from one single pressing of the three bags amounted to.....
