New Grower AFN Communal Competition thread

Well, Heck! LOL

I looked at the trich's on my JEMS about a week ago and they were all clear. About the middle of the week, my PJ starts getting covered in trich's... I mean covered! My Red Bad Betty goes from looking like it's trying to color up a little to going neon on me. Of course the White JEM followed suit. So, this moring I get around to looking at the trich's figuring to be, maybe, half cloudy... AMBER ALERT!!! Dang! It was ALL amber. I've never seen anything like some of the things I saw on those leaves.

It didn't start out this way, but the PJ has tuned out ot be the star of the class. Besides the trick's being ambered up, the sugar leaves had an amber "sheen"... like little bitty amber beads... thick... all over, in addition to the trich's. I trimmed her tonight and started to throw away the fans, as I usually do. Because it was so heavily covered in trich's, I decided to look at one under the loupe... There were amber "beads" scattered all over the fan leaves too.

Sorry, I'm excited because this thing has turned out so much better than I thought it would, as recently as 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Wiz, I have to ask because it hasn't happened to me like this before... The three girls that have closed out (pictured above) were put in paper towels to germinate on 10/15, 58 days from when I took them. Is it unusual for the JEM to amber over on 60 days?

Note: The White and the Mossy's JEM both did this. The RBB is probably 25% amber and the Magic, I started at the same time, looks to have a couple more weeks to close (which would fall in line with previous experience).

Thanks :peace:

What are they called? I love growing peppers. Such a pretty plant, too. I
love growing bizarre varieties. Monster pumpkins, purple carrots, bright pink
popcorn. Id love to grow some obscene peppers!

Yup...we gotta find out what they are called...coz I would love to grow them too...I like Different...

My JEMs are filling out nicely:

They certainly Are Batz...

On the glass floor...and you see them tucked into little dents..like the bulbous head..without the stalk...?

I'll just look see if I have a photo..
