Hello AFN !
When RH is too high I run a humidifier in my lung room - it's the kind with a tank to collect water from dehumidification.
I prefer running a hose out of the unit and then to a bucket.
Is it ok to use this water for watering my plants ?
Thanks

Water out of a dehumidifier is basically demineralized water, but it depends on the coils used.
If they are galvanized you can't use the water as it's considered toxic. Best case only use the water if it's some sort of a stainless steel coil or other inert material.

Wow good to know !
Thank you for the info.
I'll check the unit.
